Croxteth was a nice place to live I grew up there in the fifties and left in 1971. We had a good childhood nice friends and neighbours. I haven't been back since 2010 but there were still nice decent people who lived there. I am proud to say I came from there.
I remember visiting that place when I went to visit a pal in the Mens home victory outreach it was some experience pros on the street in the day time , RIP Rhys you will never be forgotten kid. ❤️

Me, Paul and Kevin King, Tommy McKibben where off to Jersey for a while then off to LA. The best thing to come out of Crocky was Lisa Aldin and Crocky Comp ,oh yea , and Angie Cooke, she was absolutely gorgeous. She worked at the real estate agent in West Derby Village.

I used to go to St swithens 😄 still there. Has a hub attached to it now for children with Autisim. I hadn't been their for 30yrs until I had brought my little one to the club.

Croxteth Hall and Country Park is one of the best places in Crocky, think it dates to the 1500's doesn't it the main building. Will most probably go up there next month when I'm in Liverpool, I like the farm on a nice sunny day 🐂🐃🐄🐏☀😎
Iverpool has some great parks ..very swanky place in Victorian days ..I rember walking through Stanley park and that massive green house thing ..some guys old garden ..sefton park was nice ..

When I used to go to Liverpool games back in 1984-85 there used to be a large concrete blocks of flats, it was definitely Croxteth be cause I remember the sign coming in.
There were five huge tower blocks on storrington avenue,croxteth .. there until around early 90s...they were known locally as "the 5 sisters"...they were 14 storeys high
My uncle took me into the Lobster 30 years ago, I was barely 18, and I was surprised to see a man sat at a table on his own with what must have been tens of thousands of pounds in cash. I asked my uncle what he was doing with all that money and he told me in his broad scouse accent “He’s the bookie”, I’m sure he wasn’t a ‘licensed’ one! I naively asked my uncle “won’t he get robbed” and he said “Nah he’s the bookie!!” Classic. Such memories

I lived in 68 septure Road for ten years before I became homeless,,,croxteth was run down,,I watched septure Road towers being blown up,,The other 3 towers were being blown up for newly built homes ,The dog and gun pub was the pup for drugs and weapons if you new the right people,I remember ,,Wayne Rooney family ran a mobile caravan sweetshop,Think it was his nans house,, Wayne would serve me sweets before he became famous,,They sold food and tobacco ,, every now and then duty free items would be sold from the house,,The ice-cream van,,Ten o clock sold cans of beer...I had a great time then till my life was turned upside down,my dad ran off with my girlfriend of ten years that's a story for another day,,well that's my memory of croxteth,,what's your worse or best time of croxteth?

Poor Cathy was a decent girl until she got caught up with that rat. That’s were it all began lad, trust me 👍🏼
