Well done! Had to laugh a few times during this video. You captured and verbalized my thoughts on a number of situations I have found myself in re uphills and stairs and more uphills. “What doesn’t challenge you doesn’t change you”
what lovely scenery. i would love to be out in the hills with view like that but living in London we dont get this. well done on the race. and im glad your healing up well
Nice one Neil. Awesome you get to do so many races. Can't wait for Tarawera 50km. Any chance you can give us a talk on start strategy. I'm pretty impatient when slow runners ahead when I do road runs and worry about the start in my 1st Trail race.
Hi Alan, looking forward to meeting you in Tarawera. Good suggestion about the start line. I'll put the thinking cap on and see what I can come up with. 👍☺
Gee, thanks Mike. You know it’s all relative. What one person finds hard, another finds easy. Anyway, no one forced you to watch this, mate. For me, it was on trails, it was a race and I found it hard, so I guess the title does describe how I felt.
Getting out into nature on these runs, whether it's racing, training or hiking is by far the best benefit of running. Nicely done Neil.
Couldn't agree more Garry. Beats pounding the bitumen roads and concrete footpaths any day. 👍☺
Congrats on the 2K 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much 😀You played a role in getting the channel there, so huge shout out to you. Hope things are going OK.👍☺
Well done!

Thanks Rogier. There is no place to hide when hills are involved. If you haven't done the work, they will find you out very quickly. 👍☺
Good job mate... 👏
Thank you! Cheers!👍☺
Well done Neil, looks like a nice course too, lots of green, maybe too many steps!
Thanks. Have to get used to those steps😲, there are plenty on my radar in 2022. 👍☺
I love watching this, reminds me of the pain!!!! :-)
🤣🤣🤣You did warn me.👍☺

Cheers mate. We are spoilt here in Brisbane, not far to drive to some cracking trails. Thanks for watching. 👍☺
Great run mate. Looked amazing out there. Apart from all those hills!
Great spot out there Nathan. Might have to head back again early next year in prep for UTA100. 😲
@@runwithwoody you need to come up here and do a full loops at parklands, if you're looking for some vertical.
@@TheGutlessRunner Where is parklands?
@@runwithwoody Nambour Park run.
@@TheGutlessRunner OK, one day.

@@runwithwoody i also wonder about etiquette on the trails
@@alanshrimpton6787 I think as a whole, trail runners are very supportive of each other. I have never experienced a problem.
Nice job mate! What sort of gimbal do you use to film so steady?
Cheers Alexander. No gimble here, just a trusty GoPro 8. Incredible what technology they can fit in such a small device. 👍☺
Total Bullshit Title ... if you are serious, you have never run a real trail race...
