Incha'Allah, I thank you so much. Style Nr. 2 is used in Mauritania, only with knots, not wth needles.. anyway.. that's my father's home and I feel a very strong bond to Africa and Mauritania ever since I was a toddler ( growing up in rainy Germany, I once asked my Mom as a 2-year old:"When are we going back to Sahara, Mama 🤔???"😂.. When I was a little child, the world didn't have any limits or borders in my imagination, there were no differences between black or white people, for me they were all good humans...long story. The Melhfa is so beautiful and comfortable as well ! My father wanted me to marry a man he picked for me as my future husband when I was 15 years old, my chosen future husband was 19, half Senegalese, half Arab. What a pretty boy!!! And we actually really fell in love when we met. It was love at first sight. I knew that I was right there where I belong..but it is not common in Europe to get married this early.., All I ever wished for was having my own family and children.I was early with that. My German mother didn't understand me. She wanted me to finish school and get a profession first. She took me back to Berlin, Germany. Today I am 41, live alone, I have no profession I can earn money with, seperated from my daughter's father. My daughter moved out. She doesn't even talk to me anymore. Her father lives all across the globe..wherever he's gotta job, that is where he lives. He is a self-employed construction worker. He is a Christian and doesn't like Muslims ..I just wonder how I got myself into this situation. My daughter scolded me for believing in God.. It's bizarre. She was absolutely free to chose her own way. She suddenly moved out. My Ex partner started gambling 16 years ago...I had no idea ..I got into severe trouble, lost the car I bought for the family from my own money. My partner didn't pay the insurance, so the car was pawned after eight months.
I wish I would have been stronger and would have stayed with the African man. Listening to other people, who are socialized exclusively western, have pulled me deeper and deeper into the abyss. Unfortunately I have to say that.
Btw: You are beautiful.
Sending lots of Love and Hugs from Maiduguri Nigeria. ❤️May Allah ease all your Affairs. I am always available if you like to chat and hear stories about My Nigeria and Maiduguri +2349051522747

Thank you for the demonstration. Alhamdulillah. They are all beautiful.
Thank you
I'll definitely get one this summer. I just pray that Allah will give us some sun this year. Whole Europe is burning, only the country I live in lies in the cold spot. Ít is May but I had to wear a winter coat and warm tights yesterday. That's not normal. Also cold Germany used to have fruitful springtime, you could see the summer coming by looking at the cherry tree in Grandmas garden... Snowdrops and crocuses were everywhere in February and March. Birds came from the walnut tree and ate from my opened hand..That's all gone.
Everything will come to past soon
Shukran from NYC for this video with the different ways to tie the garment properly, as well as providing what the garment is called from one country to another. Beautiful!
You are welcome 🤗

Jazakullahu khair for the demonstration. How long is the fabric approximately? i would love to get some and surprise my husband who is from Mauritania when he comes back home from his travel
You are welcome 🤗 it is 180inches long thats 5yards. That’s so great 😀
Nice style. What is the name of the song?
Is there a way to make your own Laffaya? If so can you show how?
You can use lace material to make it
@@AishaAbbahow much material?
What type of material
Was used for this ?
Laffaya
How many yards of fabric do I need to achieve this
5yrds depending on your body size
I looked at European measurements and to sew it yourself you need four to five meters of fabric. Approximately 1.00-1.20 m wide, depending on body size.
Yeah
That's nice but non of this is toub lol🥰
This is not ur culture and have nothing to do with west central Africa. Stop culture appropriation Sudan !!! Sudanese toub only has one name. Toub.
Okay Come and carry the Culture out of Us. Who even told you Only sudanese wear Laffaya.
