Doyle Lawson is a perfectionist as far as his music goes. He has the best of vocals. The best of musicians. The best of arrangements. This is nothing less than the best. 'The Gloryland Way' is from his album, "Kept & Protected" which was released in 1997. I have seen Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver several times and have been impressed with his musicians and his skills. 1st group I know of to record it were the Chuckwagon Gang. They sang all 3 verses. Chuckwagon
gang was the Carters of Ft Worth Tx. I delivered Dad Carters daily newspaper. Fine man.

arthur ogle I think he was limiting the time to around 2 minutes and maybe Doyle thought the 3rd verse was better. Who knows. But I really like it.
