cooling ( water flow and water pressure) and ignition timing and fuel pressure and fuel flow - then the quality of gas in the tank - many repowers at times do have all 5 correct. Also will add marine engines breathe totally different in a boats enclosed engine compartment than on a DYNO. Marine engine have barely any FRESH air ramming into the engine compartment so basically a marine engine somewhat chokes on its own emissions. Next all marine should be tuned on the water where that boat owner operates the boat - the lake or ocean water temps , prop size - specific gravity and rvp of the gas being used - how the boat owner loads up the boat with weight - summer time air temps compared to 70 degree dyno room temps - next is altitude a boat running at 13 K ft above sea level in Colorado vs at sea level is a ton of changes there. Anyways a jist of it cause there is more.
Didn't he mention in the video that you'd want to run it in the boat and go over all the parameters and then fine tune everything? I'm confused on what your trying to tell him here

There's a guy in up state NY and down in NJ that have dynos that mount on the prop ./ out drives there stuff runs pretty strong. Hudson poker runs
