I sang this my senior year of high school. It was a challenge to sing a part I don’t usually sing, but I often find this piece stuck in my head at random moments throughout the day
yes, never forgotten but also performed. I vividly remember singing this piece, I'm a bass... it sticks with me. it's part of who I am. I remember everyone else involved. I'm part of them too, and they're part of me. more people should be part of this.
Merci Me FAURÉ....
RIP convalescent royal navy band, Lancashire colors, King Edward's own, your turmoil losses and tragedy of 1903, and your triumph of 1965 a final tribute farewell and full complement Shelburne Industries singing back to you. In smart white and bowties. Buntings and high risers. Thank you St. Bruno.
Is it weird that I first heard this song in the movie _Babe_ ? (It’s the scene where Hoggett is watching two ladies singing on the TV, when suddenly the power goes out.)
Took so much pleasure to sing it. Gives you the shiver whilst singing

@@leiarichardson65 Everytime we’ve sang it it has gone well. It’s a well liked song in our choir :D
@@mausthetank9 What is your choir called?
The genius of Faure beautifully presented. Thamk you. May his magnificent works never be forgotten

I Love this piece. Singing the soprano gives so much joy. And it‘s a little sugary, still love it.
Love singing the bass part, and the French gives many opportunities to really make the words "sing"

One of the most beautiful songs ever sung about God’s creation. Andrea Bocelli and the singing friar do it justice. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I enjoyed singing this beautiful song goosebumps every time the high notes hit. 🥰
looking forward to be accompanying my choir on the piano for this stunning piece
Me too 😂
@@luisfernandotapia451nice, good luck! I really enjoyed it a lot after getting comfortable with it :))
Not too many 20 year olds can produce such beauty like this as Gabriel Faure did
Fauré was a brilliant composer.
Wow. So beautiful! I sang this freshman year of my undergrad. Such wonderful memories singing this. 💓
Isn’t it 😁
J'aime bien le Cantique de Jean Racine

Same! I first heard it as a kid and was strangely elated when I found out what the song is actually called a couple of years later.
You are watching a boys tabernacle choir sing this on TV when suddenly
1:39 THOR GO BRRR
Faure gave me my joy.
The whole of Faure Requiem is just wonderful
what does the requiem have to do with this
I adore Gabriel Faures art.
great piece
Cant wait to hear the extraordinary Irish Docs choir perform this :)
I love singing this❤
Sounds little bit like the 3rd movement of the Schumann's Fantaisie Op 17
I don't know what Faure was on this time, but singing this brought absolute joy
The unfairly leses famous cousin of the Pavane.
