In case you found this video and your cloudlifter still isn't working like mine, make sure you have the 48V "phantom power" setting turned on your interface. On my Scarlett Solo this is a tiny button that says 48V.
Maybe not, the cloud lifter is mainly used to boost the DB of the mic due to how quiet it is without one, another device could be used to boost the sound of the mic, I'm sure the Rodcaster 2 pro would most likely not need it but I've never used one so more research would be needed. While I cloud lifter i.s not fully needed, it is normally recommended
the mic is expensive as well, if you need to save money go for something cheaper like the blue yeti or rode nt1a depending on what you’ll be using it for

^^^ This is correct, a 48V power switch on an interface is key to more powerful mics working. I'm going to pin this comment.

This don’t work with a pre amp
well no shit cuz pre amp is literally replacement of the cloudlifter

15-20 bucks for 2 cables bruh
@@hibernate44 depends on if you want quality cables. They get up there in price. Mogami golds are expensive. But that's what I personally like to use
@@najiahgriffiths4216 copper is a better conductor than gold. gold just doesn't oxidize, but like normal use that wont be an issue with copper
Hey man,
Are u looking for a professional and attractive UA-cam thumbnail designer?
