Hello, you can buy pads from several places e.g. musiccenter.it, ferreestools.com or musicmedic.com, but if you have no prior experience in repairing saxophone it is best to leave it to a professional repair technician. Changing pads looks easy but it is fairly difficult to get them seal well without any leaks.

@@timyllym Obrigado por responder, eu procuro um fluxo liquido que acho melhor para trabalhar, mais aqui no Brasil não se encontra a não o fluxo liquido inflamável.
@Timo Myllymäki Thanks for answering, I'm looking for a liquid flux that I think is better to work with, but here in Brazil you won't find anything other than the flammable liquid flux

Mainio video! Tota pleksikorjausta näkee kyllä usein noissa.
Hommasin tossa melko erikoisen Toneking III Alton. Kaikki näyttää selkeältä tapaukselta: Ylä F# löytyy, Sarjanumero on 3xxxx, Made in germany ja se "JK - The best in the world" -logokin löytyy, mutta kellossa lukee selkeästi Broadway King. Oon yrittäny netistä etsiä tietoja tosta, mutta ainoastaan trumpetteja tulee vastaan Broadway King nimellä. Ota näistä sitten selvää. :D :D

Kiitos! Enpä ole minäkään kuullut Broadway King Keilwerthistä, eikä tosiaan netistäkään näytä mitään löytyvän. Varmaan joku custom-versio tai stencil jota on tehty vaan joitain kappaleita.

Hi Timo. In your description, you mention that they were made fron the 1940s to the 1980s. I've seen a Tenor Keilwerth, but on the bell, the only thing that is engraved is Keilwerth Special. It does not mention Toneking. The serial # is 905.. so it is probably from 1985 or 1986. Do you know if it has the same dimensions as the more modern Keilwerth SX90-R or is it closer in size to the EX-90 (which was their intermediate model)? Also, do the Tonekings sound as good and loud as the SX90-R? Thank youTimo.

Hi Donovan, I haven't played SX90-R but I have understood that they were re-designed from Tonekings so they probably sound and feel different. Toneking Special should have "Toneking" also engraved like in the link below. I like the 60's Toneking that I have but I'd really like to compare it to a SX90-R. bassic-sax.info/version5/vintage-saxes/european-made-saxes/julius-keilwerth/jk-nauheim/

@@timyllym Hi Timo, thank you for the information and quick reply. So do you think that if it only says Keilwerth Special, that it's maybe not even a Keilwerth? I asked someone directly at Keilwerth and they said it was a model that came between the Toneking and the SX90-R.

Donovan, I can't say, Keilwerth has made many different models and also stencils. Someone said in a comment in this thread that he has an alto that looks exactly like Toneking but it has engraved Broadway King in the bell.
