Witchfire Tip | How to solve Gatekeeper chests

So here's the rundown of how this thing functions:
It's a Gatekeeper over a chest with six power sources (always three blue and three orange) lined up in a circle around the chest
If the Preyer messes up in any way, the Gatekeeper will self-destruct and take the chest down with it, so no rewards for the player
to get to the chest's contents, one needs to either solve the puzzle completely, or just destroy one color of power sources completely to make the GK shut off for a brief moment in order to Interact with and open the chest, though in all likelyhood it will change color again and zap the player for a bit before then selfdestructing.
How to solve the puzzle: At first, the GK will not rly change color, so the first power sources the Preyer needs to destroy are pretty clear. same as the color of the Gatekeeper of course.
Once the first (matching) power source has been destroyed, a timer of maybe just a single second, at most 2 seconds (haven't measured yet) starts running down and if the player hasn't destroyed another power source until it runs out, guess what, Gatekeeper selfdestructs, aka no loot
Now once the first Source has been destroyed the gatekeeper will swap colors rather rapidly, to the point where with an awkward power source layout (and sometimes it's in a bad spot where there's almost no way to get a clear view of all six sources at once) I'd recommend to just shoot two, two, one, one matching color power sources, that will still get the trick done. No need to shoot 3 sources in a second, and then another 3 the next second, just directly take aim at a source of the other color, wait until the GK matches that source, continue shooting. Without seeing what you're doing it's impossible to say. Could be you're a moment too slow on a hit, or accidentally hitting a close up wrong color power source etc. If you want you can upload footage of it not working for you and link it to me here and I'll take a look
