I love that you don’t always hit the exact number when turning the knobs Feel like I’m giving a tiny bit of uniqueness when I do that, even though I’m recreating sounds
I only realized the knob twists weren't exact a few months ago as well. Sometimes I would match detune on OSC A and B without realizing the minute difference.
Randy was actually using the original mini v vst as i remember his words from twitch stream. I mean, his whole track was made by using mini v, but it's sounds accurate too. Good Job!
Dude it feels illegal to watch content like this for free, I don't know how you got your knowledge on sound design but let me tell you it would be absolutely worth paying for
i love how you have the sound constantly playing in the bg so use serum newgens can learn what each function does ty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perfect. I was trying this using the brainworx oberhausen synth, having the feeling it was probably made using something like that. Got close with the lead, but this is pretty much spot on.
it's not like you can listen to a sound and instantly know the values of 100 synth parameters. you recognize some features through experience (rough original timbre, ADSR envelope is straightforward to recreate, effects have obvious giveaways etc) and experiment for the others, gradually building up the timbre. exact values are more or less arbitrary. everytime you find yourself thinking "how is this possible for a human" remember practice is a surprisingly powerful tool, besides the fact that presentation of final result rarely is transparent to the means.
This is awesome. I tried to do it about 2 or 3 times on my own following your video but I couldn"t get it to work. I tried the download link as well, but that didn't work. Please help!
This is probably one of the most convincing recreations of the synth I've heard. Really good.
For real though

Dude this is insane! Resonance is the song i can listen to for an eternity
I’ve seen a lot of synth tutorials for resonance and this is the first one I’ve seen that has recreated it perfectly, bravo 👏
Jazen also did a fantastic tutorial using vital!

You can download the preset from the link in the description :) I've uploaded a new link that should work!
Awesome!
Are the notes supposed to change or detune kind of every time they hit?
How do you automate the macro? also I cant download the preset too so not sure what's the problem
I'm stuck on the same thing
Move the macro knob then go to tools -> last tweaked then create automation (for fl studio)
Mate, always start these with the sound you're about to make.

The Music 2
shouldve came with midi
i think the reverb is a lot of people miss in recreations, like some of the sounds are too short or too long, and i think he gets its almost perfectly
