How To Unlock INSANE Productivity Even If You're Lazy

- How many times did you tell yourself you were going to do something, but then didn’t even bother starting?
Over the past few years I’ve examined hundreds of different routines, and I’ve noticed that most successful and productive people all have one.
But how can someone who's kind of lazy achieve a similar level of success?
In this video we'll look at how to get more done if you're someone who doesn’t feel like doing much, is often unmotivated or would rather just chill.
And you'll find out how to construct a productivity routine that will help you get the most out of your time, without putting in too much effort.
After all, being productive isn’t necessarily about spending more time working, but rather about being in a proper mental state when you are working, in order to be more efficient, faster and of course, to enjoy doing it.

Want to know why Pavlov's hair was so smooth? Because he conditioned it.
🙃😂
Ouch! 😂 I'll have to remember this one!
😂
Something, something, Pavlov's hangovers ... Something, something, hair of the dog!
Please add one push up!
And step by step,
Day by day
You make yourself better
Than yesterday! 😊❤
These videos are the true definition of *"quality over quantity"*
Thank you for this video, was falling into the trap of delaying getting going by watching youtube but fell onto your video and it's got me snapped back into work mode. Appreciate you 🙏
I just found a good way to trick myself into getting productive by instead of thinking about the work I could or should do, I just started going to my workshop every day, no matter what. By now, it works.
what if you procrastinate at your workshop by doing something not productive.
@@kerenbanget1 Well, the productivity by now always was > 0. And anything getting done strengthened my general confidence in my capabilities. At the end, what holds you back from a task is often a more or less conscious fear about struggling or failing.
Great David! You've found the sweet spot
Have been looking for the solution of this procrastination for more than 25 years finally I get it thanks bro
Great timing for the upload, right in the beginning of tough semester, thanks
Good to see you re uploading vids. good health to you 🙌
I went into this with very little faith but the second I put on my workout gloves I was locked into a workout… like immediately. Amazing
1:50 I hear that all. the. time. But I tend to have the opposite reaction. My intuition is telling me this is a Pandora's Box that I may not want to open up, at least not right now. And when I finally do, I realize it was as bad as I feared, if not more so.
Insight beyond your years. You're going to go very far, I'm so proud of you
I've been out of work for a couple years and I'm finding very difficult to get back to doing what I used to do. I've been tackling addiction issues and going back feels unnaturally daunting
Find a good support program for the addiction first. Where work is concerned, apply for every opening you can find that you can do. Above all, don't give up! 🙏❤
Not working & being unproductive is the catalyst for your addiction. You're not living a productive healthy life & doing nothing means in 6 months, things could be a lot worse. You can do this! Close your eyes & picture yourself back working & getting that paycheck & feeling better about yourself. I'd even find a place you can volunteer at while job searching. You know applying for jobs is hard work, so start by getting your skills together to show them off. Start by dedicating an hour a day to get your stuff together & make a list of people you know whom might have job leads. The sooner you start being responsible your self esteem will be better. I believe in you!
Thank you so much I didn't except a response but it's humbling and appreciate you
Your videos are always unique and give me new insight. Your channel is one of my favourites when it comes to self improvement
Find your ritual to get started on work so instead of having the feeling of dread to start that’s taking away by the ritual and to find the time of day where your most productive got it thanks so much very informative and straight to the point
Thanks again for coming with the perfect video when I most needed it. Thanks. Thankyou so much.
Atomic Habits ❤
James clear put it in a beautiful way
1- Make a ritual
2- Discover the best time to do the work
There you go
- put a tint
- daily routine >> one off events
- put a phone holder
Procrastination is the fear of success. People procrastinate because they fear the success they know will result if they move ahead now. Because success is heavy and carries a responsibility with it, it is much easier to procrastinate and live on the ‘someday I’ll’ philosophy
That is weed level realization😁 agree 100%
This statement sums me up to a tee. I honestly believe in what I do, but am afraid of the consequences of what happens if I do it right (I refurbish Dyson vacuum cleaners, and at the moment I have about 400 awaiting work)
True. I feel that. Glad that's the case
This is 100% true for me. I always fear I will surely achieve something. If I achieve it, I will have to deal with more people
@@dinushw I relate to this so much😥
Im a computer science student and I needed this 🙌🏼
I so appreciate all of your wisdom and drawings to help us. Since I am very visual, it helps cement the ideas you share with us.
You are awesome ❣🙂
I always learn something from you.
Thanks for the videos bro.
May God grant you success.

Thank you for this video. Very inspirational. ❤❤❤
I’ve did sugar detox and dopamine detox for months after his channel and since past week I came back to old habits hope I’ll change after this video
8:35 really resonates with me. I have found that as long as you put the time in, the task will get done!
Finally! I needed this.
Great video, thank you for the ideas with music, that helps a lot. Having different music genres for different tasks is an inspiring idea.
Really great video! Will definitely implement the reading your stuff before you write tip 😁Will also think about what I only what to use for work
Thank you. This really helped me
I have been waiting for your video for long time
Good video. Thanks for helping us!
For some maybe helps by thinking in advance of how good you will feel after you do something productive, like a mental reward. At least this is how i feel after a workout or something and before going to sleep i feel like that day was not wasted.
Quality videos, easy to understand and to apply. Thank you!
100 % it's working))) I am also have specific albums that helps me begin work
And tea - of course))))
Thx for the video !

I was eagerly waiting for your Video
AMAZING video
I have been waiting for this video to be uploaded for YEARS
I am so grateful:)))
I rlly hope that instead of the get your lazy ass up rhetoric that I remember from his other videos ( I said remember cuz yk I wanted to give myself a margin of error), we get more videos like these
The video is very cool thank you so much
this video has a lot to do with Permissive Influences!! other influences that can make it easier or harder to do certain things. Influences like certain people, foods, energy levels, locations, and stuff. pretty cool!!!
Thanks.
I categorise work/to do lists into to categories.
A = When I start doing it, I find it's ok and finish it easy, like washing dishes
B = Even when I start, it stills sucks and I find it very difficult to keep going, like applying for jobs or something
Very nice video brother
thank you for
Oh yeah , its like when i see my highlighter i just feel like underlining my books that make me start studying😂
Thank you for this, I'm going to give it a go to create the stimulus to practice the guitar more. I love playing, but when it gets difficult, I find it hardsr to pick up.
One thing I read, is that smell evokes memory FAR more than sound or visual stimulus.. therefore it might spur you to get to work more easily if you smell a candle or perfume.
So, pick a smell that can be associated with starting work or practicing something and use it as a trigger.. it should be 10x more effective than a a aong or picture.
I think the nice aroma of the green tea is the perfect olfactory stimulus and memory marker. 😊
@@pat4005 I might dip my guitar in Hugo Boss.. lol
Let’s give it a try-establish processes leading to results. I’m sort of reminded of a sports psychologist saying to me, “If you say your goal is to WIN this game/match, you are putting pressure on yourself. Take pressure off yourself by saying your goal is to DO WELL, not necessarily to win.”
I envsion the results of my hard work as motivation and remember the what I won't have if I give up and the results I'll lose
Thank you for this video!
And I wondered what is this accent that narrator use.
Keep up the good work
Awesome video, I don't really need a ritual to begin doing something, I just do it 😅
your videos are amazing, I have a question, can I dub your videos to persian language for iranian people, and share on the UA-cam please?
Don't be lazy at all and keep going want you doing
Me as a shift worker (morning, afternoon and night) that most of time doesn't knows its shifts until the day before that surrendered trying to get an habit. I think that the only I haven't tried is the Pavlovian conditioning
I have and always had this one problem: At first, I recognize that are so many different activities and hobbies which I know I could be very passionate about. Be it editing videos, making music or writing stories, to name just a few examples. But precisely because there are so many different options to choose from, I can't manage to decide on one particular thing. It's like the agony of choice. I also find it difficult to find the necessary motivation and energy because I know that these things require a certain amount of mental effort - even though they would be fun despite or because of this. And so it often happens that I simply end up doing nothing at all and end up back in front of the PC playing pointless video games. Has anyone here had the same problem in the past and any tips on how to solve it?
I have noticed that whenever I listen to a very specific song, my brain starts thinking of Maths, I used to listen to that specific song while doing maths, i have only just realized this
Wonder any recommendations for pre-sleep routine? It's always hard to fall asleep.
Building habits is essential for creating anything. My problem (and surely of many other people) is that I know exactly what I want to do, I would have a routine and I know my peak time BUT the regular job gets in the way...😅 I am productive in the mornings, and as you said in the video the energy level after work is so low that I cannot do anything. It's bothering and frustrating and therfore kills all the motivation.
Maybe somebody here has a tip?
I start use 5minit rule and its helpful.
I'll watch this tomorrow
It very interesting animation, may i ask what software did you use?
Thank you sooo much for this 10 mins video!🩷 A much needed content!
Finally a video where Mike doesn't get roasted!
Rip to those to lazy to watch this video
I got the feeling that i've watched that same video some years ago
Doing your best work want to do maybe at morning 🌄 and even or night
A question re ritual:
You mentioned that you read what you wrote the previous day; how do you transition to yesterday's proofreader to today's intrepid writer? I ask as I have autism & transitions can be especially bumpy for me?
Was waiting so bad
We not a dog 🐕
Keep your journal with you
Hej, jaki RPM masz z tego typu filmów z adsensa? :)
Can i ask what your accent is because it is beautiful?
I am most energetic between 3pm-mid nite or 10pm-7am
This video is great. However, I want to make up a point that continuance isn't a thing that is said to be easier than initiation of one thing. In the book "The Psychology of Money", it has explained how hard it is to continuously making money
Life will change
Pretty sure this is just the same as habit stacking
How about people that work 8-16h per day? It’s not like we choose our working schedule
Useful book with similar and more detailed explanations: "Atomic Habits" from James Clear.
I remember reading something similar in Atomic Habits, which mentions that it’s a great idea to chain habits as stimuli for one another. Just like what you mentioned in the video, drinking tea leading to reading, and reading leading to writing!
Yep! That's very effective. It's called habit stacking. One habit triggers the next, building a routine.
❤
But how do you overcome the fear of failure when one has been brought up from a young age with the father saying " you will fail".
Nobody knows the future so I suggest to not take this into consideration. When people say ''you will fail or you will win'' nobody actually know for sure. It's all about destiny and the efforts you put in. Also maybe you can use this as a motivation to prove those people wrong, not necessarily to brag after but twist those words into motivation. But I think this should be ''additional'' motivation because what you do is for you first! And even if you ''fail'' it's part of the journey. Failing is not the end of the world, many successful people failed a lot until they win unexpectedly even if it's another field that there originally were.
👍👍
I tried doing this, but now every time I sit down to work, I start salivating 😕
Great video!!! Thx for sharing these tips with all of us.
Connect what you want do
I wonder if Pavlov's theory is why they ring bells at the end of lunch time at schools 🤯
who else saved this in watch later?
i probably got 4 years worth of content in that damn playlist
Choose what time you work
Solution come strong way
