- In this episode we take the Broad Minded to Miami to fish the Jimmy Johnson Sailfish Tournament. After loading the boat with bait we make it to Palm Island for a few days of fishing. The first day is practice fishing and the next two days are tournament fishing. The sailfish bite is slow for us but we catch a big wahoo and win some money in the tournament! Back at home we cook the wahoo up for the girls.

Damn 6 kites going. Been on charters out of B&M running 4 and it was a mental challenge watching them to ensure baits were at the right depth. It is hard work for sure. Congrats.

I’m not sure what factory in China makes his rods but you can get them off his website. He usually pairs them up with a Penn Reel

We’ll take them anywhere we can get them, especially in a tournament with a lot of sharks around. I hope to make it out to Hawaii one day, haven’t been yet

We were chartered for the tournament so I make my charter rate plus a percentage of any winnings. The clients that booked the boat, entered the tournament, rented the house etc have a huge amount of money invested, a lot more than we won.

Blaster is a product we use a bunch on the boat and at the marina to keep things running and to fix things . They are famous for PB blaster , but have other products too
