Love all the variations, so It's hard to pick a favorite. The one with the ring in the middle really caught my eye. Glad the Midnight Quilter is back!! 😍
I can't believe I'm saying this since I love the original Dresden Plate so much, but the "twisted" one is my new favorite!!!! So much fun watching your videos!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
When you let your own light shine without inhibition, you’ll find that the same positivity comes right back at you in all you do. Please tell us about the goof quilt for your family reunion!! Who won it?
I definitely believe the more fabric variation you have in a Dresden plate, the better it looks. It's already round yet pointy, so more fabric isn't going to make it look too "busy." It adds to the charm of a Dresden in general. The second variation really highlights that idea.
I loved the Dresden plate that was divided into three horizontal part and the middle part was a low volume when it was put together it is reminded me of a wagon wheel, but really, I love all of them . Angela. I appreciate everything you do and love to watch all of your hidden talents in Quilting. See you later, Janeen Wright
My bucket list includes creating a dresden quilt. My favorite layout is the one that creates the inner circle! Thank you, Angela! I am a quilter today because of your influence! ❤️
We can do so much with the Dresden plate design. Thanks for highlighting this old design in new ways. I love the corner one because I can see so many possibilities - actually - I love them all.
I LOVE THE LAST VERIATION AS IT GIVES THE DRESDEN SO MUCH MOVEMENT WITH THE DIFFERENT SHAPE AND DECORATIVE STITCH MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE FINISHED PRODUCT. WONDERFUL FABRIC COLLECTION SPEAKS FOR ITSELF, AS PLAYFUL AND THE COLORS ARE SOFT ENOUGH TO NOT TAKE AWAY FROM BOTH THE FABRIC AND THE DRESDEN. THANKS FOR THE DEMONSTRATION.
I loved the last wonky cut Dresden with the swirling movement effect. Love your new fabric line! I just bought a new machine with tons of decorative stitches and can’t wait to play with it. Thank you so much for your generous sharing of knowledge...keeping us all sane in a wonky world!
My favorite is the one where the plate is split into 4 sections, and the sections placed in the corners. Creates all that wonderful negative space for quilting! Thanks for the great video!❤
I LOVED the second variation of the Dresden block! :) But really my favourite is just watching you make any of the variations!!! So happy to have some midnight quilting back!!
I like the variation that had the three strips of fabric joined to make three colors stacked and then inverted in the adjacent blade. My grands aged 3 to 7 sat mesmerized watching your video. Too fun. Then they went to my work table and set to designing using fabric squares I had sitting there. Looks like the bug has bitten them already!
How fun! I just pulled fabric to make a modern looking Dresden plate quilt...and now have even more variations to play with. I love the setting you are showing for your quilt...and am anxious for the next video to see more! Thank you for all you do...I learn every time I watch you...even after 50+ years of sewing and quilting. Now...if my big machine would get finished at the spa...sigh.
I've never seen the Dresden split up and placed in the corners. I love Dresden blocks and that's my favorite right now. Thanks for sharing the variation of this wonderful block!! LOVE your channel, you and you're amazing talent!
I DISCOVERED your video's by accident! OmG, I love your energy! TELLING all my quilting friends! I haven't made a quilt top in years...just getting back to enjoying my seeing. I am a night working, so on my nights off I normally just eat and watch mineless tv, now I am inspired!
I really liked the circle effect by using the three- colored strips. I also liked the stripes. Dresdens are a favorite of mine, and a quick go-to block. Love the Midnight show. Thanks.
Hey Angela am I crazy or what?? I just finished a dresden. I told my kids its my coffin quilt. I should get to take one with me when I go right...lol 😆
I love the Dresden Plate blocks. I think my favorite is the one with the three colors where the white background fabric makes a circle in the middle, it sort of gives it a wagon wheel look. Can't wait to see the setting, it looks great!
The third variation was the best. Very hard to choose. It's like being a judge on a show and you have to pick a winner when all the contestants are spectacular. I love your fabric by the way.
These truly look like a lot of fun to sew and put together. So many designs can be made. I like the multicolor dresdens. And that fanric is amazing. Words on fabrics are my favorite. I have a cool collection of many different one. I will add a prayer to be the winner. Thanks Angela.
I really love the look of the 4 corners block. When you put it all together with the quilt I love the vintage look it gives. Almost like the tin tiles on the ceiling in some older homes. Very neat!
I liked the 3rd plate design best because I loved how the thinner strip of fabric at an angle gave a spinning effect! Love your show! The return of your videos was a bright spot for me this year.👏👏👏👏
I love the variation in which you used "pieced" blades. Loved the wat the center looked circular. Your fabrics are great coordinates, too. Thanks again, Angela. I always look forward to seeing what you'll do next.
My fav is the 3rd variation, starting with sewing wide and narrow pieces together, and the completed dresden has the appearance of spinning. Thanks Angela!
I like the second variation. The light bulb came on when you showed how to piece it. Thank you for being a great teacher! I have learned so much in the last 2 years from Build a Quilt and Midnight Quilter.
I am a fairly new quilter. I have only been quilting for a year. I love the Dresden plate but I thought it would be too difficult for me to do and just didn't have the confidence to try but watching your show makes me feel that it is doable . Thank you for giving me confidence in myself to try. I love the twisted look! Your a great teacher and I love your show.
I really like the 2nd one with the same center. Thank you for showing us all another way to attach the center. Perfect timing, as I am attaching centers today on a Checkered Dresden for my mom for Christmas. Thanks for coming back online, I look forward to your weekly show!
My favorite is the 2nd Dresden with the 3 color strip unit. It reminds me of the windmills my Dad loved so much and always stopped to take photos of while traveling.
I like the first Dresden you made but that was a hard decision. They are all gorgeous. You are the best I have learned so much for you I have been watching you for years and your the reason I quilt❤️
You’ve inspired me to pick up where my late grandmother left off on her Dresden plate quilt pieces maybe I can switch them up like you have so brilliantly done here. You are the expert of our opinion. 😂. Thank you so much for sharing.
It's so hard to pick!! I really love them all, but if I had to choose I would pick the twisty variation. I love this quilt, so I guess I have to put it on my mile long "quilts to make" list. Love you, Angela!
The twisted one is very inspirational! way to add a modern twist. I can't wait for the setting in the braided look instructions! Thanks for the inspiration and all the teaching!
Each variation is lovely. I’ve never done a Dresden before but am now looking forward to the modern twists you showed us. I like the last variation. It looks like a windmill that could spin. Perfect.
I love variation number two! I love variation number three! I that you showed us that there are other ways to make Dresdens. I always think of the ho hum old fashioned ones but you have made me rethink Dresdens. I really enjoy your shows, you're very entertaining. Be Well!
I love all the versions. But the twisted one is unique and something I would never have thought of. It is so wonderful to have you back!
The second variation was my favorite. I love how it created a “circle” around the plate! 😍
I love the 2nd one with the ring in the middle. So pretty! Thank you for coming back to quilting at "Midnight!"
I loved the second one..all of your colors are so pretty ..love your videos !
I love Dresden Plates but I've not seen that wonky, twirling one! That is fabulous. How fun that would be to do! Thanks, Angela.
My favorite is the second one. I just love your show.
Love all the variations, so It's hard to pick a favorite. The one with the ring in the middle really caught my eye. Glad the Midnight Quilter is back!! 😍
This one is my favorite too. However I think the different variations make the quilt awesome.
I like the last one
The Dresdens in the corner has to be my favorite. They are all pretty but that just pulls me in!! 😍
Love Dresden’s, I’m currently making a checkered Dresden; I want to try the second and third methods, love the variation!!
I'm making the same in Christmas fabric for my mom pray I get it done in time 👍
The third is my favorite!
Sounds like fun!
My favourite is the twisted. So glad you are back.
I can't believe I'm saying this since I love the original Dresden Plate so much, but the "twisted" one is my new favorite!!!! So much fun watching your videos!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
The Twisted Dresden is my favorite. Also, the corner Dresden is the answer to a pillow I am making. Thank You!

Mark Twain expanded on Charles Darwin’s observation of blushing when he said, “Man is the only animal that blushes. Or needs to.”
I have never been interested in Dresden plates until your video. Thank you for your creative genius!!!
Angela I’m so happy to have The Midnight Quilter back! I love the wonky block because I’m a little wonky myself!
The circle Dresden!! Now I want to make a whole quilt of them! Thanks Angela!
I definitely believe the more fabric variation you have in a Dresden plate, the better it looks. It's already round yet pointy, so more fabric isn't going to make it look too "busy." It adds to the charm of a Dresden in general. The second variation really highlights that idea.

I love the Dresden Twist. It spikes up the Dresden block. You fabric is beautiful. Actually every fabric you have designed has been gorgeous.
My bucket list includes creating a dresden quilt. My favorite layout is the one that creates the inner circle! Thank you, Angela! I am a quilter today because of your influence! ❤️

I love the wonky, spinning version best. What a fun way to spin a traditional block!
It’s hard to choose a favorite, they’re all sew pretty! I think the spinning pinwheel is my favorite. Thank you Angela!
I love the dresden with the circle middle. This is such a nice twist to a traditional design. I love the finished quilt design too.
The spinning Dresden design is enchanting.
I DISCOVERED your video's by accident! OmG, I love your energy! TELLING all my quilting friends! I haven't made a quilt top in years...just getting back to enjoying my seeing. I am a night working, so on my nights off I normally just eat and watch mineless tv, now I am inspired!
