Mike, thank you for taking us along with your crew. It’s fun getting a bird’s eye view of your game within the game, and your drumming is so well done.
Hi Mike, What I enjoy about your vlogs is your versatility. Given how tough the music industry is right now. Your videos gives the viewer insights of the importance of having multiple streams of revenue in the field you are passionate about. It gives you the ability to enjoy the work you do. Keep up the great work Mike 🙂
Really enjoyed this Mike. As a fellow musician and drummer :) this video/documentation is so great. I can also image how much work it is to edit all this together. Nice done Mike! What program to you use to edit your videos. Keep them coming!
It is a lot of work, but it’s really great to be able to look back on all these memorable opportunities I have, and of course…. Others seem to enjoy the BTS look as well.
Great video! The content you create is super inspiring as a fellow musician! I’m really a fan of your use of story telling and videography techniques! Big fan! 🎶🎶🎷
@malonedrum Mike. I USED TO PLAY THE JOYNT EVERY TUES. NIGHT BACK IN THD DAY WITH THE WATERSTRERT BIG BAND. I TOOK OVER FOR JIM GALLAGHER, ONE OF MY MENTOR//TEACHER. THIS WAS IN THD FALL OF 1982. THAT BAND STARTED BY RON KEEZER IN THE 70S AS A READING BAND. EVENTUALLY STOPPED THE JOYNT GIG DUE TO A DISPUTE ABOUT HAVING THE WORLD SERIES PLAYING WHILE THE BAND WAS ON STAGE. IT THEN DOWNSIZED TO A GIGGING BAND. OTHERS STARTED THE PRIME TIME BIG BAND....MANY FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES. ALSO PLAYED THERE WITH MY JAZZ GROUP CALLED MIRAGE, WHOM THE AMAZING PETE MCCANN WAS GUITARIST IN WHEN HE WASXZBOUT 16. HE'S NOW TOURING WITH MANHATTEN TRANSFER AND A NEW YORK HEAVY WEIGHT. LOVE YOUR STUFF! UWEC ALUM 1983-85. JIM
Another great video! Also I had a dream that I met you in person a few nights ago, it was at a drum store that was at a mall funnily (off the food court and upstairs) and they were having a BOGO sale on Bosphorus cymbals. I picked up a Vintage ride like what you are using in this video and a 16” Traditional crash. You hadn’t quite decided on what you were going to get.
Mike you do a hell of a job with these videos -- love the details (specific gear used, tour planning and logistical insights, etc.), the top-notch drumming, and the side of great commentary (awesome point about leveraging the mobile venue format as brick and mortars sadly struggle). Always look forward to these. Cheers!

My pleasure!
spent a few summers on those pullouts in rv's on 3 month runs... brutal!
It was pretty nice compared to sharing a king size bed with my spouse and three dogs, but yeah, not for three months at a time.
Thanks!
Means a lot!
Great video, man!
I'm a young and "upcoming" musician and it's really interesting to see how shows and tours go down. Keep 'em vids comin'!!
Cool, thanks!
Sounds so great, Mike!
Appreciate it Steve!

Awesome, sounds like a great little tour.
It was!
Great video. That snare drum sounds great and your playing is top notch. As a rock drummer I really appreciate the quiet playing skills.
Nobody practices playing quietly, but it’s huge!
Great drumming.
Thanks.
