Lovely! You really have an eye for color and flow. It's fun to see what is native to different areas of the country. My grandmother grew up in Wisconsin, and would talk about the Jack-in-the-pulpit and bright green moss she would find while picking blackberries in the 'Woods'. Here in Southern California, everything starts early. It's not cold enough for tulips, but freesias do very well, and re-seed themselves each year. Roses need part shade, but do fine with strategic watering. Wisteria bloom about the 3rd week of February. While I love English garden type flowers, the planting styles still work with bougainvillea, lavender, various flowering sages, and a number of Australian and Mediterranean plants. One day I will espalier some apricots and Santa Rosa plums. Thanks for the inspiration!
Greetings to Southern California! With high temperatures here still only in the 40’s or maybe 50’s, your climate sounds wonderful right now. I totally believe that you can create almost any garden style using native plants by paying attention to hardscape and foliage textures and colors. And, as you say, strategic watering and partial shade can go a long way in hotter climates. Thank you for watching and commenting and your kind words. I apologize for not responding earlier, but I was absorbed with the birth of my first grand baby over the weekend 🤗

Your spring garden looks beautiful. The tulips in your front pathway are such a wonderful colorful welcome to your home and garden. In the south I am lucky to get two years out of them so I have about given up on them except in pots. Love seeing your spring garden.
Thank you so much 😊 . My apologies for not responding sooner. I was organizing content in my UA-cam channel and came across your comment this afternoon. I'm so glad you enjoyed the spring tour, although we are now almost looking into fall! I'm glad you liked our colorful tulips. Pots work great for tulips and so many other plants. Thanks for watching! Yours in gardening, Rosanne
Hi Ms Rosanne! You sure have a great huge garden! I am still working on my 30'x75' small garden since 1 year ago. Your garden is simply lovely. It sure is the result of lotsa hard work, time and money put in the garden. Love, from Malaysia.
Greetings to Malaysia! I do think that garden design can make a garden seem larger. Our entire lot (house and all) is 50 feet by 200 feet. I grow lots of vines on arbors, trellis's and other structures to make the garden seem fuller. It gives the eye more to look at. I'm sure your garden is beautiful and full of love. Although I've not been to Malaysia, my daughter-in-law is from Malaysia. We just got 8 inches of snow last night. The garden is white.❄️ ☃️. Quite a contrast to your garden I'm sure! 😊
@@RosannesGarden Hi Ms Rosannes! It is delightful to read your reply to my comment. Thank you so much for your cold ( pun intended - due to the 8" snow, LOL) greetings! Lovely to know that your DIL is from Malaysia!

They are on their second brood and the first babies are still nearby and after my neighbor's seen the brilliant blue, they have erected houses too! Greetings Wisconsin neighbor! I'm so pleased you found the video inspiring. We love to share our garden. We're headed into a deep freeze this week, but soon it will be spring! 🌷
Very beautiful! I am also a garden lover, but your garden is top level. About tulips:after 2nd year we dig out tulips after the leaves become brown, dry them out, store them in basement till autumn, plant them back in autumn and in spring they are blooming just fine. Another option is to plant them in bulb baskets so that the bulbs didn't dig themselves too deep. This year I will see if actually this worked. I have no time for digging them out (I am working full time & my garden is 1500 sq m, too much work), and would not like to throw them away either.
Hi! Thank you! Glad you are enjoying our garden. I appreciate your sharing your tulip technique, and realize it is widely practiced, but digging the bulbs up is not practical for us. Mostly, it's that we plant the bulbs about 8 inches deep (using an auger) and that we plant them so close to the hosta plants. It would be too disruptive to the surrounding garden. But, thanks for the tip. 🌷

Your woodland garden is Heavenly! I've tried to start one, unfortunately most of the flowers seem to have spread the wrong way, to my neighbor's yard. He just sprays them with weed killer. Ugh. My favorites are probably the dutchman's britches & the shooting stars. My grandma had bleeding hearts all over her yard when I was a kid & she was buried with a sprig in her hand. I couldn't bear to lose them when her house was sold, so I moved them to my garden, along with her peonies, magic lilies & ostrich ferns. Thanks for another tour, loved this years tour as much as last years. Thank you very much. Trees are such an important part of our landscape, and sometimes, underappreciated :-(
I really enjoyed your tour. I rent a house now, but used to have many of these in my Michigan garden. I planted some here but can't go crazy because it is not my permanent home. I appreciate your names and attention to detail as well as soothing voice. Reminds me of Priscilla Patrick's yoga stretches on PBS. Looking forward to more tours. Happy gardening and many thanks.
Thank you so much! Perhaps you will get back to a place where you can garden. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Funny about the yoga and PBS! I really am not a fan of how I sound in recordings. Glad you find it soothing though. Happy gardening to you too!
Thanks so much for sharing a lovely garden. I especially like the stone work ringing the garden beds.
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I'm glad you liked the stone work. It's not only attractive, it "unifies" the garden.
Me encanta gracias por mostrar todas esa bellezas suerte ❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🇺🇾🇺🇾🇺🇾

Happy to see you and your lovely garden again. I love your Louisa. Planning a few crabapples of my own. Trilium remind me of my childhood. Thanks for the wonderful tour.
Hi Lawrence, Thanks for returning! Louisa is indeed a beauty. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour. All the best.
Stunning! Thank you for sharing. Love how you planted your tulips in drifts.
Thank you! So glad you liked the tulips.
First time I’ve seen red cones on a tree. 🥰
First time for me too. Most unusual
Aren't they fun?? The red cones eventually do turn brown though. The red cones are just a quirky part of the spring garden here :-)
Really very very beautiful fentastic amazing Garden, different types of unique plants I never seen before, it's unbelievable, it's seems Heaven,👌🎄🎄🌴🌴🥰🍀🍃🌹🌼🌿💐😍🙏💕🙏🙏

Lovely…thanks for sharing your beautiful labor of love….
My pleasure 😊. Glad you enjoyed it! 🌷
Thanks for another tour, loved this years tour as much as last years. I’m getting a new street in front of my house and they have destroyed my hosta garden, moved cement planters, bench, birdbath and taken out 2 large trees so they can lay tile and make the street wider. I shall win in the end tho as I’ll have my landscaping people come and ‘save’ me and the garden!. Thank heavens I still have my large magnolia. Pls give us another tour soon! I so enjoy them...Carol
Hi! I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the garden tour. Sorry about your garden being torn up though! As you say, at least you have your magnolia. I am sure it is beautiful when it blooms. I am working on a new video, but having technical difficulties at the moment :-(
Hopefully soon.
