Wow another great walk Stephen …poor Caren lost her usual confidence! only briefly tho bless her …but yes the views were amazing..I managed to get out on a 12mile hike..I did from bramford to Burstal village Google maps said it was a round trip of 6miles so not bad for little old me lol 😂 looking forward to seeing you on the next one ..many thanks Ruth 😊
What a lovely walk with great views. Not a fan of having to get out of the way of ruuners though 😁😁who needs to get anywhere that quick lol. Not sure on the giant spiders either!! Another stunning walk Steve.
couple of nice waterfalls there matey but i,m with Karen on the limestone stuff i hate it looked like my walking weather not to hot and next to no rain 👌👌👍👍
Thanks folks...they call the slabs Limestone pavement...care needs to be taken, easy to twist an ankle...or worse..thanks for watching...appreciate that.
One if the gems of the UK I'd say Steve. Watched and enjoyed it all - I had some fun as usual with you guys. Loving that lake and digging the geology. Wow, the ancient falls must have been a site but storm desmond sounds pretty cool. All the best. Mark
Morning Steve and Karen Malham is a fab place to visit We've only ever been during Winter so nice to see all the leaves on the trees and greenery. Definitely no swimmers when we were at Janet's Foss The rocks were so slippy when we were there so couldn't get near the edge at Malham Cove. The steps down were difficult too especially for Morgs as he was carrying Boo. A fab video brought back lots of happy memories for us. Hope you had a good weekend 😊
Classic walk there Steve. I agree that Gordale Scar is probably the most impressive sight in the Dales. Sorry Janet wasn't home when you called. Great stuff 👍
Nice waterfalls. I would not expect to see these in England. Really impressive scenery. I like the way the walls go straight up. Cool walking on that limestone pavement too. Eleven miles wow! You showed some really awesome sights here in this video. Nicely done. 👍24
Wow thank you.... For many years i thought about visiting Malham Cove, and now that you have shown me around i really want to see it for myself... .. Enjoy ya pint 👍😁😁
Beautiful area I’ve never had the opportunity to visit. I definitely would not be looking for any spiders though! 😂 they give me the shudders. Thanks for showing me somewhere I’ve not been. ❤️xx
We love this walk, was going to do this last week and include it in a “Yorkshire Best” video. Can the runners not just jog on? I would have thought Janet would have appeared when beckoned! No scrambling the falls anymore? Love Karen’s Duke of York! Blinded by the limestone light! Don’t fancy running into those cave spiders. Definitely a lot of cobwebs. Yikes that’s a massive spider! Massive hare too! Mmm, tomato soup, delicious! Those cows were misinformed! The cove attracting the crowds as always! Pretty amazing up there and only getting more popular post Harry Potter. Nice that you got a day almost entirely without rain. Watch those slippy rocks! 👍
Hi folks...easily up there with anything else in Yorkshire...yeah no sign of Janet, maybe she is shy..yeah i was blinded by the light...i have a thing going with lads at work where i have to add a couple of song titles into every video...this was the first week...see if you can spot them in coming weeks.
Hi Steve, outside of the Lakes my favourite walk, have not been for about 5 years so thanks for reminding me, even came 3rd i think on Julia Bradburys best 100 walks in uk, great area and vid cheers nigel
Cracking walk. Definitely on my list to do either as part of the Pennine way if and when I get round to it, or a hike in its own right. Keep em coming.
Hi to you both, enjoyed your walk. Absolutely fantastic scenery. Can see why it's so popular. Dave likes a singalong on walks too. Walking over the stones looked fun but a bit tricky. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful week. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Evening Dave and Dawn ...yes pretty tricky walking over that wet Limestone it was so slippery, lots of people took a tumble, including myself, all good fun though...hope you are well and enjoying the weekend.
Well, I certainly enjoyed it! What a fantastic walk. So many different and interesting parts to it! Definitely lots of wow moments! The limestone pavement did look a bit dodgy though 😅 Great video!!
Has to be 3 years now since we were last year and did it the same way around, much better, especially going down those steps at the end. LOL, no, she was not in but I did fancy a swim at Janet's Foss, until you mentioned sheep dipping! Still plenty of people climb up Gordale Scar and I always said next time I go I will be one of them - still not been back yet lol. We never went to the Tarn when we were there, we had have been celebrating Mrs Metalman birthday the night before and she was still suffering a bit, so real nice to see it. Maybe just as well we missed the tarn, as she is terrified of spiders - cave spiders or not and those cows would have put us both off! Yes that dry valley was amazing but if you have ever been up High Cup Nick, that takes some beating. Mind you, that view off Malham Cove takes some beating as well, cheers Alan
Hi Alan...i think i would rather have gone up those steps at the end...a slight drizzle left them slippery everyone was struggling [ even Karen ]...been a few years since we did High cup nick, hope to get back there someday...smashing days walking, thanks mate.
Cracking place there ste and jan i love calling into and yeah the dry valley is great got another thumbs up there so jan was enjoying it 😂 nice show around beautiful looking from the top of the cove and up from the bottom nice few stairs to go at too class mate
Nice to see you up in the Dales. I have always thought about going up to Malham Cove the Tarn and what I call the Butter Tubs, but always worried about the amount of people I will find when out there. Think I will try and go early in the morning (day break) on a week day. Many thanks again for a great Vlog. 👍
Has always great to see you back out, I saw this place on another tubers channel a few years ago it's on my to do list.. just need Rob to book some hols in.
Hi Steven I’m looking forward to watching this one, this is where I want to go to, maybe next year now, I’ve been bad on my knees again with arthritis and health issues. it’s a 👍from me
thanks for that Steven, I’m booked on 2 coach trips in October and November,1 to the Lake District and the other to London so I’ll probably take you guys with me, keep up the good work on your channel, you’re nearly there now with 1000 subscribers cheers Glenn 👍
I think o are right, Goredale Scar is the best Limestone feature in the Dales. The limestone pavement really facinates me - just how? Thanks for another great video.
I agree with you, it's one of the best in Yorkshire- amazing place. How Harry Potter managed to camp in secret up there I'll never know- it's always busy!😄
The cows were right Stephen, it did rain! I have ambitions to photograph the lone tree that exists in the limestone pavement up there, not sure I fancy dragging my camera gear up the hill from Janet's Foss though. I might have to park at the tarn car park instead. A great walk for the two of you.
Hi Andy...can't remember a lone tree up there...i am guessing you mean the pavement at Twistleton scar with the view of Ingleborough behind...now that is a classic photograph viewpoint....cheers mate...yeah those cows were cleverer than i thought...
Nice one Steve. Gordale and the cove never disappoint. One of my short vids shows Gordale in full spate. I last did the waterfall climb 2 years ago age 66. Not very technically hard but exposed, needs concentration and can be a buttock clencher. 😳atb mate
So much beauty. Even the gray skies

Evening Alistair...glad you enjoyed the video..it can get busy at times but an amazing area.
I first went there on a geography field trip when I was at school, and I've been going back there ever since. Never fails to impress.
Evening Michael...perfect place for a geography field trip...we have been several times and are never disappointed.
These locations looks really amazing. Like the part where you walk on top of the stone slab (if I can call it like that) 16:06. Nice sharing. 👍👍
