the fun thing about it that the merkava if it was realistic was overpowered so hard that everyone would have been using it
frontally immune to DM53 at point blank actually
the turret would be incredible, the body not so much. It would take older rounds but not dm53.
@@itsjohnny6091 In an expriment with the German army in 2016, a Merkava Mk.4 took no less than 8 DM53's to the hull before any damage was done. I have access to the Armored Forces Archive in Latrun, Israel - I got any information you could dream of (NOT CLASSIFIED) about the Merkava.
Since you have more information, can you share some? Maybe about the materials used, the turret protection, how well the sides are protected, if there is any armor infront of the engine on the lower front?
