Billie is a master performer, her live sessions are better than records, which is quite rare even for the best of singers. She also immerses herself in the songs she sings and has an innate intuition for bringing out all the needed nuances in the song.
I agree on every level. It’s refreshing when an artist sounds just as good, if not better, during live sessions. I love how you can tell she genuinely enjoys her own music which is rare. A lot of people (including myself) can’t stand listening to our own music but a part of me thinks maybe that’s what other listeners think as well. Trash. So when someone enjoys their own music it’s a good sign I think

@@CarlosWadeMusic If you like that type of artist I'd really recommend checking out Ren. He's more of a small artist, especially compared to Billie, but I've never seen anyone feel music the way he does.
He also had a record deal with Sony a few years ago, but was forced to give up on that due to health issues. I think you'd really enjoy his stuff!

This is one of the reasons I love her music. She really makes you feel it in your soul. Lol you can feel her emotions when she sings. I haven't found one song of hers that I don't like.

Loved your reaction. It’s the same reaction I have every time I watch this performance. You just can’t help but fall in love with her, her voice, her emotion. She’s definitely an old soul. And it really brings back those memories and feelings. Also, If you haven’t already you should do some reactions to some of her interviews or her short documentary with Apple.

So, ironic(?), Billie and Finneas LOVE to play with electronics and samples. But, frankly, with just her voice, and his guitar and backup, they are incredible beyond words.
They wrote this song about their love for each other...while sitting on Finneas's bed...that's why they perform it on an elevating bed in some performances.
When I first heard this song the night the album dropped it hit me hard, and it had me bawling. It's so relatable.
That’s the beauty about music. It can relate to everyone in the way they need it the most.

This song is dedicated to XXX which was her friend and when she was sad or depressed, he would comfort her and tell her its okay and that he's there for her but when he died it made Billie really sad so she decided to make this song, every time she has a concert with this song she asks everybody to hold up and X in honer of him.

She’s such an underwhelming vocalist. Isn’t this hipster voice trend done with yet? These singers all sound exactly the same.
