So the neat thing about the original story is that it's an encouragement of people to get an education so that they can think for themselves, rather than being controlled by the ruling elite. It argues that the best patriot is the one who can not only be proud of their homeland, but also call out the flaws and work to improve them. While not by any means the first story to do so, it's one of the earliest well-known examples of such!

I don't think you were supposed to read the description for the usable items right away.
My best attempt to read the boss dialogue:
"Finally, a guest is here! Kick this party into gear!"
"Discipline will be the trick!"
"Bad children get the stick!"
"Now he shall be happy, now, off to our toy land..."
"You could've given the king a real festival..."
Unfortunately I've not read Pinocchio, only seen the Disney movie, so I can't really put context to this.
Maybe a bit of a dumb question but before I invest more time, is this more focused on the story and lore. It's kinda hard to find LPers that uh.. have patience nowadays. lol I'm halfway through the game but I'd like to refresh my memories and "compare" notes so to speak. :)
I read absolutely everything in the games I play (much to the chagrin of some people, I regularly get comments telling me to stop doing that lol.) That of course doesn't mean I'll connect every dot, but I definitely try. This is such a fantastic world to get absorbed into, I couldn't imagine not jumping into the story and lore!

I'm interested in watching this one as I love souls and souls like games, but I'm not happy with whoever was on the developer/Publisher team that decided to add Denuvo 3 days before launch!
