- Have the pigment in your ink bottles separated? This is the tool I'm really loving in my art studio right now. This mixer is great for alcohol inks, high flow acrylics, india inks, or any other paints that are low viscosity and tend to separate.
This mixer is available on Amazon and I'll include a link below. If you use this link, I will receive a nominal commission which will help keep this channel alive - however, you can easily find this mixer elsewhere online.

I don't throw them away when the pigment settles at the bottom; just shake a lot. But the hand shaking does take a long time and is pretty tedious, so this video about the vortex shaker is quite handy. Thanks!
Awesome tip!
Thank you, Nicole! If you ever need one I hope it helps!
wow 😳 thanks a lot

I hope it makes your creative life much easier! 😀
I just used your link and bought one. It’s more than paid for itself with my hydrus
Ooooo how clever is that! I think I will get one. Thank you so much for sharing.
It's been a godsend in my studio! Shaking those bottles by hand was NOT working! lol
Hi Ellen and Happy New Year. I'll have to check out this device, looks like a keeper. Thanks and stay safe.
Nice to 'see' you, John! And Happy New Year to you! Be safe as well, and hopefully I'll have more to report next time, lol!
Delighted to abandon my calypso number during which I dance around shaking ink bottles like silent maracas. Fun, ineffective, slow, and ... oops.
I can very much relate, Susana!
