Yeah, sometimes a Turbo Dork paint just goes hard and there’s not much I’ve found that helps. Adding Vallejo thinner and Flow Improver doesn’t seem to work either. For the vortex mixer, I have the same one. Hold the bottle right side up and put it at a 45° angle in the dimple and mix. Flip it 90° so the other side is down and continue mixing.
The paint is done. The separation of mica, suspension fluid, and additives has rendered that type of paint moot
i have similar problem when i buy paint on christmas. the paint gets frozen during delivery, then goes bad similar to your paint. water based paint can't recover from this. personally i would pay from another seller or when the weather is nice.
I had the same problem with a bottle of 3D glasses turbo dork. It almost seemed like there was no medium at all, just a sticky clump of pigment
the rattling you hear when doing the ammo bottle is the mixer ball ammo, vallejo and Ak put in their bottles. Not the tape you wrapped around the bottle.
I have that same mixer and it works great, especially for citadel contrast or army painter speed paints that separate. I'm not sure that bottle can be saved. Agreed about the batch issue, this one seller has a bad or old batch. I own several Turbo Dork paints but haven't tried Seafood.

I've had the same issue with the ill gotten gold turbo dork and just didn't have the time to persist with trying to make it useable, tried to contact turbodork for advice but never heard back from them
I also bought a bottle of Turbo Dork gold (in my unending quest to find a good, warm gold alternative to GW's), and it had the consistency of toothpaste. Shook the bejesus out of the bottle for several minutes, on repeated occasions, to no avail. If they marketed it as "pigment paste", I'd understand, but they insist on calling it "paint", which it is definitely not.
That happened to me with a bottle of AK grey primer
Try putting a stainless steel mixing ball to help agitate the paint and pigment
Turbo Dork bottles all come with a ball in there. I added more. ended up with 4 in there.

No, Turbo Dork is available from a lot of online retailers. But I like shopping on Amazon because I'm a Prime member so I like the free shipping.

Seriously?!? You think I didn't try to thin it? You think I didn't try multiple types? I bought 3 bottles of the same color before contacting TD who confirmed there was a bad batch made and shipped to suppliers. They refunded all three.
But you seriously thought I wouldn't have thought of thinning thick paint?
@@AirForceBuilder sorry I thought after putting the 5-6 ball in it that you didn't try for instance REPLENISHING AGENT FOR MR.COLOR it looks like the pigment separated from the coating resin I have a Tamiya red paint that had the same issue an the replenish agent fixed it
