1:50 easily one of the best and coldest Disney villain moments ever. The line delivery, the off camera carnage, and then making sure the audience knows he definitely ate the vulture afterwards. If it wasn't for the last minute joke where the same vulture is revealed to apparently be alive, this moment would be even better. They played it way too safe by tossing in that joke. Still an awesome villain moment though, and Tony Jay nailed the role of Shere Kahn perfectly.

After he attacked him and the vultures flew away, the next shot is from the side of Shere Kahn, insinuating that the bird has just been consumed. The vulture coming back for more jokes later all battered up was just an easy way for them to alleviate tension from the climax of the film for the little kids. Like, "Oh see honey! The funny bird's still alive! That meanie tiger just scared the feathers off of him!" 🤷
