I really thought the RX 7900 XTX would do much better!? Needs some serious watts to power this beast. Dare I say... The Juice ain't worth the squeeze? Good observations on the graphics quality issues. Cheers!
@@Obie327 I have to agree. I have nothing against AMD (I'm not fond of Team Green tbh) but, considering the 7900 XTX's price (and all the electricity it's sucking up), I really expected it to do better.
I got a 7900xtx red devil and at the time I bought this card for $870. 4080s were $1200-$1300 and 4090s were $1600-$2000. Considering my card performs similar to a 4080 in non ray tracing I'm pretty happy with it.
When it comes to rt I say you go big or just buy the best value rasterization card which is the 7900xtx. Even with a tweaked 4090 I am savoring my playthroughs with pathtracing until hardware catches up.
That is what I said when I ran the benchmark on my 7900xtx. I was like the benchmark that ran didn't have too much going on in the scenes, yet the fps struggled like crazy. This game is horribly optimized for PC.

Never found so stupid post. Everyone knows this game doesn't runs well on 4k with everything on cinematic, no upscaling and RT on. NO GPU CAN RUN THIS IN THIS WORLD. Do a favor, be honest.
@@pimplepimp Not too far in the future all games will have ray tracing that you can't turn off. Alan Wake 2 and Remnant 2 is already like that and a few others I can't remember right now and the number is growing every year. All of them eventually will use ray tracing because it cuts development time by a lot. You can make a game with ray tracing and push a button that says "do the lighting" and instead of having to tediously place static lights in every single area of the game requiring tons of man hours it just works. I don't like it but it doesn't matter what I like. Companies are already cutting every corner and releasing games unfinished and they absolutely will push the "make the lighting in 5 minutes" button instead of spending months with teams of people placing every single light in every single scene. Then you won't have a choice but to care about ray tracing. The sooner you get a good ray tracing card the longer your card will last.

@caliginousmoira8565 this may be new information to you but since the beginning of pc gaming or from a certain point on there have been games that the best hardware can not run well maxed out but no matter how much money you spend you can always turn down the settings or resolution etc. To achieve the fps you want.
A 7900 xtx cost $800, a 4090 cost $1600. 7900 XTX and 7800x3d gets 35fps in 4k native. Rtx 4090 and 14900ks gets 53fps in 4k native. The better value is AMD.
Nvidia costs more sure but it gives better ray tracing performance, much better upscaling, and better reflex low latency, better FG if you only want fps per dollar then AMD is for you but games these days most of them are badly optimized and sadly you can't just depend on native resolution or FPS anymore

Yep., this is what I initially thought. I have a QHD 17 inch laptop screen. So pixel density is quite incredibly high. I tried Raytracing in Star Wars: Last Survivor, and the difference was absolutely marginal. Even with the pixel density, the water looked marginally more realistic. That was it. Is it abit better? Yes. Is it worth £1000 extra, and the FPS drop, just for marginally better reflections? No. Although I must say FortNite does look quite amazing, I haven’t played enough games myself in RT settings to know.
I dont really understand the hype towards ray tracing. It makes the image smooth, look like an oil painting, and tanks performance. Sure theres better contrast and lighting, but is it really worth it? I do think people that consider ray tracing for buying gpus are the ones that wants to brag about it and/or posts pictures on the internet about how they can run ray tracing.
@@theivadim Why games should be "realistic?" Isnt art direction better than being "realistic". If you want to see realistic things, you might as well just go outside? All the hype for high end cards (i.e rtx 4090) comes from low-end gpu users that wants to experience better, but once youre at the "better" you'll be disappointed tbh.
just doesnt smear its more HDR and tone mapping as well; its still too limiting right now but just only doing RT shadows which isnt too demanding will make shadows less dependent on AA
My last two GPUs were AMD but this time I was making a bigger jump in performance so RT was finally an option. The same way some get ruined by OLED monitors and can never go back to LCD is the same with RT for me.
Tbh black myth wukong is sponsored by nvidia and runs way better on nvidia gpus, test a game like call of duty mw3 or forza horizon 5, they run substantially better on radeon gpus
Those games you just listed don't have raytracing and aren't as demanding. That's why they run well on the AMD GPU. It has nothing to do with sponsorships. Black Myth Wukong is simply more demanding than forza 5 and Call of Duty. NVIDIA GPU's are far more powerful than AMD, it's a fact.

@klausgaming9715 So you're telling me an RX 7900 XTX is more powerful than an RTX 4090? The 4090 is the most powerful GPU money can buy right now. Therefore, NVIDIA GPU's are more powerful.
@@joseaquino1360 No RTX 4090 is superior in performance but comparing the Radeon And Geforce Graphics cards within the price range comparison it beats in Raw performance that's all.
@klausgaming9715 You just proved my point, lol. I'm not talking about price to performance. I never said anything about the price. That's different. I'm talking about performance in general. Obviously, AMD offers more value when it comes to price to performance, and that's just simply because NVIDIA GPU prices are insane
Super Resolution at 100% its overkill for any GPU man. At 4k you just need 50% witch is 4K 100% scale (Native) and for 2560x1440 is 75%. 7900XTX its a good card for the price in my opinion. Regards
God what is this. Set it to 4k native - no upscaling - normal to high settings. Then play it. Then bump up the settings to see where the fps are at. If its low framerate put it back to normal settings and then upscale.
FSR and DLSS both suck. Play at native resolution for the best image quality. “But my GPU can’t do native 4k” you might say? Then maybe don’t play at 4K. 1440p is awesome.
I will never understand ray tracing, if you want your games to look realistic, just go outside at that point. I think this is the reason why a lot of games suck these days, they just focus on making them look as good as possible and miss a lot of other important stuff, games back then were more original.
You are using the most common and most stupid reason people say. Really good outside? Cmon. People want their games to look better and raytracing does that now depending on what you want raytraced and the level of raytracing it can tank performance but there is also upscalers. You can also watch optimization videos or experiment yourself and you can lower the settings or resolution etc.

@@theivadim right I completely understand that stand point, but saying things like ‘NVIDIA wink wink’ and then not elaborating that Wukong also runs like shit on everything except a 4090 in 4K. Ray tracing is dumb for right now because the current GPUs out now do not render it well 1440p-4K resolution in most games. Maybe it will be better on NVIDIA GPUs with the 5080 or 5090. That thanks to NVIDIA we'll have to wait till what looks like September-October 2025 to be able to buy one.
Good video. I was looking at buying a 7900xtx "Red Devil" for my 2nd pc (I already have a 4090 build). The problem is when I read a review from a major site. It can hit 600W+ under 100% load. That's insane.

If any Game gets you 3 FPS at any settings, you should demand money back because its clearly not a hardware related issue. No way any GPU even from 2008 will give you 3 FPS its just a fact. The issue is the game is not optimized and your GPU is idling , basically doing absolutely Nothing
12:33 lol, I have a 4070 Ti Super and i play this game. There’s a channel that is just so pro AMD because of its price that, to be fair, I haven’t watched a lot of his YT videos but just the one was borderline deceiving ppl. I mean you can argue price and how NVIDIA will stop supporting certain high end cards to get you upgrade while AMD will continue to support for a longer time, it’s still settling for less performance. I had the 7800XT for a while. Watching this 7900XTX review when it was almost the gpu I bought but due to stocking issues on Amazon I grabbed the 4070 Ti Super, I really don’t care that AMD will support their cards for much longer than NVIDIA will. The cards from AMD just seem to underperform. And I say, you get what you pay for in most cases.
Great advice. Let’s pay for the privilege of waiting until the company may or may not solve the issue with a future update instead of buying an alternative product that works right now 🙂
@@theivadim that alternative product is $600 more dollars at least. or the 4080 super is about 2-300 dollars more. waiting is just the better option for most people.
Crying about "sub par" performance when playing at 4k res on one of the most graphically demanding games to exist. Just lower the settings. it will still look better than most games. This is how technology progresses, it happens every 5-10 years. I really don't understand the point you're trying to make in the video. Everyone knows AMD is significantly behind on raytracing performance, so why is it even a point of contention. Temper your expectations or buy accordingly
I don't know I seem to still be happy with XTX as it the VRAM caters what I mostly need compared to when I bought my 3080 12GB which was short lived cause the VRAM was too little and I had only for a few months before I had to upgrade. Ray tracing isn't it's strong suite but I really couldn't care much. Most of the Heavy RT games released recently are usually pretty meh and only Cyberpunk was the only one I had that much fun and I can still run that game with RT Psycho/PT depending on the settings I used at 2k. Black Myth Wukong is a great game and I'm fine with the FPS i'm getting with it but it's also not a game that I'm gonna be stuck with forever. It's a game I'm gonna play once and never gonna be playing again. Feel like the whole FOMO from reviewers and this whole DLSS and FSR difference where they make it out as if you're missing a lot. Coming from a 3080 12GB with all the DLSS shenanigans and now going with the XTX with FSR never really made me tell myself "Man I wish I had DLSS" If I had to stare hard at the difference between DLSS and FSR yes it's pretty noticeable specially on some games but man I don't think I'm missing much or I feel like my XTX was a bad buy since it fixed all of the VRAM issues I had from buying a Nvidia card which to me was the biggest downside for it not able to run high res textures alongside RT which made it useless. These reviews always seems out of touch and feel like people missed the point when people opt for a AMD card over a Nvidia and their superior tech. No, I did not pick a XTX expecting good ray tracing performance as I had expected my 3080 12GB to do so but the issue with my 3080 12GB was much bigger than my XTX not being able to do Ray Tracing. My 3080 12GB couldn't run high res textures which made the whole RT thing pointless and the "DLSS is so much better than FSR" was never much of a bargaining chip over the inferior Rasterization and VRAM. The only good Nvidia 4000 series card for me is the 4090 and I couldn't bother to even consider it for its price just for me to be able to play so little titles that I care about. If the 4080 at least had 20GB Vram I would've consider it but 16gb isn't enough for what I need from work and etc. Nvidia cards are good but they could've been great just like with AMD they could also have been great. The Ray Tracing FOMO marketing is so irrelevant unless you're someone who's always into the latest and greatest tech demo games which I felt like the trap that I got myself into when I bought a 3080 12GB for the ray tracing and the amazing Nvidia ray trace tech demo games they showcase with great eye candy but lousy gameplay. As someone who upgrades their GPU every new Gen I probably won't go back to Nvidia until Ray Tracing becomes common. Raytracing feels like that time back when people had to get a separate card for PhysX. This review is pretty meh it's the same as testing a Sedan to go off road and complain why It can't go over deep ruts and crawl up like a proper 4x4. The outcome is expected specially when you compare it a proper 4x4. But then again people buy a Sedan for different reasons and people buy 4x4s for also a different reason.
If it works well for your particular use case, that’s great! I’m glad you’re enjoying your PC experience. That said, I don’t understand why you would dismiss the fact that others may have different requirements and expectations for their GPU.
@@theivadim I’m not dismissing them. I’m just stating the facts that AMD does suck in these areas but do well in other regards. Likewise when you pick a type of car you cant expect it to do well in areas its weak at. Most people would still go for Nvidia regardless and most people that goes for AMD cards mostly know the limits and drawbacks from its features and tech. Daniel Owens reviews do make good points about the differences and as to why do some people still pick a AMD card regardless of the setbacks. Most people who would want such features you talked about would never grab a AMD card and you were never wrong about its issues but its also why its kinda pointless cause most of the people who grab these cards knew what they wanted out of it.
@@haidar6280 I know exactly why I change GPUs every gen. There is no need to cope. Some people coulnt even buy GPUs like you and I feel blessed to have the capacity.
Very interesting. As for the lack of performance _ would having an all AMD machine with resize bar on and adding the other enhacements maybe let the card be it's absolute best?
There’s no advantage to having an all-AMD PC. If Intel and AMD CPUs offer similar performance, there won’t be any difference in the FPS you see on your screen. You can pair any CPU with any GPU nowadays. There are no proprietary technologies that make certain combinations better than others. It simply comes down to how good the current-gen CPU is when you’re building your PC. If AMD has the performance advantage, go for an AMD CPU. If Intel has taken back the performance crown, then buy Intel. Of course, stability and reliability are also important factors that shouldn’t be ignored. Intel’s 13th and 14th gen CPUs aren’t the most reliable options at the moment-it’s all over the news. That said, my i7 has worked well so far.
when using ray tracing i'm not sure but it looks like drivers issues rather than bad performance, and either way if you went amd you should already know it does little to no ray tracing at the moment, unless you use fsr upscaling and frame generation, you can't expect good performance with ray tracing at native resolution in new games, but if you don't play the latest games with cutting edge graphics, i mean, it can do ray tracing in sligtly older titles. Well that's just specs talking, i don't play games anyways just for the graphics and i certainly don't like getting 1/4 of the fps just for ray tracing
No hate against AMD, I already had the 7800XT and 7900XT and only had problems with the cards. Drivers driver timeouts, game support etc, the hardware is not bad but the AMD software is still buggy! Then I got the 4070 Super and now rest, put the card in, put the driver on it and play.
Amd user, and 7900 xtx owner. couldn't buy the 4080 super, or the 4090, as i think the RT performance is not enough for those, as for future games. (4k 60 fps in cyberpunk, path tracing....with dlss3 on a 4090) but sure, a 7900 xtx vs a 4080 super, nowadays, best to buy nvidia.... still, you have fsr3, fluid motion frame, etc.....not perfect......... still enjoyable.....😊 and, if we want more affordable options, guess what we have to do. Let's support AMD and Intel.....and see the results. i wont pay 2000€-ish, for a non-essential object, and being submitted to branded technologies....... Yes the visual results are better with Nvidia tech..... Still.........way tol expensive, just for "fun". my point, of course.
Its not the graphics card fault that the titles cannot be played smoothly but game developers who gives no crap at all at gamers they are just raking up the cash for less and less work so games arrives with zero optimization
Do you think 4K DLSS Performance has better image quality than 4K FSR Quality? Asking because I've got a 32" 4K monitor and a 6800 XT and wondering if I should buy an Nvidia card next time just for DLSS, because I'm also not happy with FSR's visual artifacts which are present even when using 4K Quality, and I've seen people claiming that even 4K DLSS Performance has better image
In terms of small object clarity, probably not. In my personal experience, DLSS consistently has fewer immersion-breaking visual issues, especially on day one in new games. I think of it this way: • DLSS: I want to turn it on because it delivers higher FPS without any reduction in image quality on a 4K display when DLSS Quality is used. • FSR: I’ll turn it on if I have to, but I’d rather not. As you’ve seen in this video, I didn’t even want to use FSR Native AA because it introduces visual problems in Wukong. TSR (by Epic) was the only acceptable option to use with the AMD GPU. Bear in mind, that TSR still looks worse than DLSS in most of the games I’ve played this year. I've experienced similar issues in pretty much every other game I've played using an AMD GPU. I have the 4070 SUPER paired with a 4K 32-inch monitor in my personal PC, and I’m still enjoying my games even when I have to use DLSS Balanced or Performance. Balanced gets the job done in pretty much any game I’ve played in 2024. Resolution upscaling is no longer a joke; it’s a necessity. Playing games at native resolution is becoming obsolete, thanks to how good DLSS is. If AMD can’t match it soon, then there’s little hope for the future of gaming on Radeon GPUs. NVIDIA will just keep growing its market share.
With titles like Concord, Star Wars Outlaws or the upcoming "quadruple" games like Assassin's Creed Shadows around, I'm not sure I even want to run the "NewESt GAmEs mADe for tHE mODeRn aUdIaNCes" 😂 For everything else 7900 xtx is the value king at 4k resolution❤
I'm *_so_* glad to be bumming around at 1080p resolution. Everything looks really good at 1080p. And you don't have to spend a fortune to have a nice gaming experience at 1080p. 😆😆😆 Honestly though, the biggest turnoff (for me) in watching your experience with the RX 7900 XTX was the HUMONGOUS power draw. I don't think I ever saw it go below 370W. 😲 Thanks for the video! 🤗
I don't know man🙂 A while ago I tried DLSS Ultra Performance on a 4K monitor using the RTX 4060 (that's 720p upscaled to 4K) and it looked better than native 1080p. Especially because it was a 32-inch screen. That was the day my fascination with resolution upscaling has peaked. I like playing games on a large screen. But if you're enjoying your 1080p monitor then it's cool. I've been using that resolution for many years and it was fine😀 Although, I still recommend you think about upgrading to a higher resolution next time you're replacing your monitor. Nowadays, thanks to DLSS you don't even need an expensive GPU to enjoy a high-resolution monitor.
@@theivadim Really, it's just my eyesight (I guess it's just a 'me' thing? 🙄). I've tried gaming on a large 4k monitor (not my own), and even while wearing my glasses, things looked so tiny that I wound up squinting a lot and it gave me a headache after awhile. With 1080p I don't notice the pixels on my 32 inch screen (because of my vision?) even though everyone else claims to see them (which I don't doubt at all). And then there's the fact that 1080p panels are cheaper, and it doesn't require a REALLY powerful/expensive GPU to nicely render a game at 1080p. So, I'm content with it. 😊
This gpu is actually great the problem is the tdp (also who comes to say "oh you gonna pay extra anyways" its not an excuse) this gpu tdp is absurd I don't hate it i just don't think this high power draw is justified even tho its slightly better in some games compared to the 4080 super (without ray tracing scenarios) same goes for the 4080 super in some games its better than the 7900 xtx so i just hope next gen gonna be focus on more powerful cards but will be even more efficient because some people are not "owners" of the electrical company and so they don't want to pay high bills and so the only amd card i recommend is everything up to the 7900 xt.
I bought a 4080 when it came out and felt a little bad I didn't get the xtx with it's 20 gigs of memory for 200 less. All the bad reviews of the 4080 were at launch while the 7900 was considered a smart choice for gamers. But it seems to have flipped. While I don't think the 4080 is a 'smart' choice for gamers, (I got mine for Vray) I've been hearing far more negative things about the amd cards lately. Especially with FSR.
If only play games in that pc choose amd (save more money), if you use that pc for work and games choose nvdia (driver support for profesional work). can we all stop the debate once for all
I have had a plethora of 6900xt/6950xt and 7900xtx video cards. Let me put it this way. The only AMD card I have left is an 500$/€ sapphire nitro plus 6900xt card and still I don't think it is worth it for an AVG Joe. People are talking about hate, if you pay 899-1000 dollars and you can't even use all the settings on maxed then the the issue is the card because that much money with fsr and you only get 12-30 fps at 4k then there is a big issue, the 4080 super is around 1000-1050 and you can max out settings with rt on and you got a better upscale and also for single player games frame gen and you get 60+ fps vs what you saw in the video, the 7900 xtx should be 700 dollars if you talk about value
a 4080 Super doesn't run Wukong on 4K at cinematic either...Native or on DLSS Quality... there is legit an entire Hardware Unboxed video going over the fact only the 4090 could run the game at launch... Shocker green team flagship card works really well in their sponsored title... (I have a 3080 Ti btw) just stop and look at the full picture before making blanket statements. Nvidia is better but this isn't the way to go about arguing it. Very kind of you to expose the reality of Radeon graphics cards-they are what they are: almost as expensive as NVIDIA but noticeably perform worse in many games with the latest technologies. They try to deceive themselves by saying it's an NVIDIA sponsor, but more and more games are coming with ray tracing, and more will continue to arrive. The reality is that they are second-rate graphics cards. NVIDIA is better, no matter how much it might burn your soul. Their only consolation is saving at least 200 dollars, because in my opinion, if it's only 20, 30, 50, or even 100 dollars less, they still aren't worth it.
I almost bought a 7900 XTX but I found a used 4090 and I'm really glad that's what I have now. I feel sorry for people buying gpu's that won't last long. My 4090 will probably be made obsolete in a couple of years since games are getting so hard to run but I'm going to hold onto it until it just doesn't work anymore.

Alan Wake 2 and Remnant 2 is already like that and a few others I can't remember right now and the number is growing every year. I do think people that consider ray tracing for buying gpus are the ones that wants to brag about it and/or posts pictures on the internet about how they can run ray tracing.

Super Resolution at 100% its overkill for any GPU man. At 4k you just need 50% witch is 4K 100% scale (Native) and for 2560x1440 is 75%. 7900XTX its a good card for the price in my opinion. Regards
2560x1440 is ~67% not 75% of 4k.

Man wants some sponsorship, gotta get some bread tho
Bro wrote a whole dissertation of pure copium. It's ok man, gpu's go out of date stop crying.
@@haidar6280 I know exactly why I change GPUs every gen. There is no need to cope. Some people coulnt even buy GPUs like you and I feel blessed to have the capacity.
@@haidar6280 do you even know to read?
Indeed, it's all about the experience. Enjoy!😊
My 7900 gre runs Wukong better than your xtx.
Nice try but nobody cares about Ray tracing.
Amd user, and 7900 xtx owner. couldn't buy the 4080 super, or the 4090, as i think the RT performance is not enough for those, as for future games. (4k 60 fps in cyberpunk, path tracing....with dlss3 on a 4090)
but sure, a 7900 xtx vs a 4080 super, nowadays, best to buy nvidia....
still, you have fsr3, fluid motion frame, etc.....not perfect.........
still enjoyable.....😊
and, if we want more affordable options, guess what we have to do. Let's support AMD and Intel.....and see the results.
i wont pay 2000€-ish, for a non-essential object, and being submitted to branded technologies.......
Yes the visual results are better with Nvidia tech.....
Still.........way tol expensive, just for "fun".
my point, of course.
Nah man just buy more Nvidia stuff, the more you buy the more you save. 😂🤣
people argue to their grave that nividia is the best and that they will pay whatever price they want.
I think of it this way:
• DLSS: I want to turn it on because it delivers higher FPS without any reduction in image quality on a 4K display when DLSS Quality is used.
@@theivadim Appreciate the detailed response! Looks like my next GPU will be an Nvidia then
I would have bought a rtx 480 super if it was sold at the time and for the matching prive but back then 7900 xtx was best for me.
I cannot do amd anymore I bought a 7800xt and every game I played stutters so I bought a 4080 super and have no stutters
Black myth wukon is badly optimized
Come on man, There is only one 4K GPU out there. And that is the RTX 4090. Was overpriced.
when will you test 7700 XT?
Lol & here I am upset about the bad quality picture running very high settings @4k on my LHR 3080 card😂
Turn off global illumination and watch your frames rise, plus turn on fluid frames.
Honestly though, the biggest turnoff (for me) in watching your experience with the RX 7900 XTX was the HUMONGOUS power draw. I don't think I ever saw it go below 370W. 😲
Thanks for the video!
No two humans are the same. Our perception differs. I always say - it's OK. Do what makes sense for you.
@@theivadim Well said! 👍🏼
Revisit this when vram requirements exceed 16gb……. And you can’t compare this card to a 4090 as it is half the price…..
This GPU is $1000 bucks holyyyyyy shit
I bought a 4080 when it came out and felt a little bad I didn't get the xtx with it's 20 gigs of memory for 200 less. All the bad reviews of the 4080 were at launch while the 7900 was considered a smart choice for gamers. But it seems to have flipped. While I don't think the 4080 is a 'smart' choice for gamers, (I got mine for Vray) I've been hearing far more negative things about the amd cards lately. Especially with FSR.
turn the global illumination to low, amd said it themselves on their patch notes.
If you want you can borrow my extra custom cables, they are also black and red 😂😭
Yeah, that wasn't the most elegant cable setup😀
If only play games in that pc choose amd (save more money), if you use that pc for work and games choose nvdia (driver support for profesional work). can we all stop the debate once for all
on Wukong the RTX 4090 with dlss had the same result, it's the game not the card
Hard days for AMD fans :(
There's a reason why 75% of steam gamers use Nvidia and only 15 % AMD
Ray tracing in this game is full path tracing. AMD doesn't do well with heavy ray tracing. How does Intel hold up? Probably 7600xt vs intel 770 or 750
Playing Far Cry 6, i get better performance than a 4090 with my Asrock Taichi 7900 XTX, so wtf
who is playing with their gpu always at 100% usage? im not
You cap FPS at all times? What's your preference? 60, 90, 120 FPS?
RT low to medium ONLY, then its an awsone gpu isth great vram capapcity
Some people want to play on ultra on a gpu for thousand dollar.
I have had a plethora of 6900xt/6950xt and 7900xtx video cards. Let me put it this way. The only AMD card I have left is an 500$/€ sapphire nitro plus 6900xt card and still I don't think it is worth it for an AVG Joe. So many issues on amd platforms, on intel it is so much better which is super strange.
Really good video, and this video shows that fps comparison isnt full picture, from my take if ur realy on budget go fro amd if u cann add litlle bit more go nvidia,i have been owning amd and it has been sometimes really piss feel owning it
Back then the 7900XTX was $200 less than the 4080 and the 7900XTX performed better than the 4080 w/o RT bc who tf really uses RT with the release of the 4080 super vs the 7900XTX has become a better comparison with rasterization for around similar price which makes the 4080 super more appealing nowadays vs the 7900XTX but like I said who tf cares about RT bc 95% of ppl don’t even use RT so it’s a matter of if you really want the Nvidia DLSS and RT
In short term you will not regret buying the 7900XTX but if you can get the 4080 super for $30-$60 more than a 7900XTX got for the 4080 super
I subbed u not long ago cuz u looked like a chill guy that makes great gpu benchmarks but man hating on amd cuz it can’t do ray tracing that it wasnt made for is crazy. Unsub
(I have a 3080 Ti btw)
just stop and look at the full picture before making blanket statements. Nvidia is better but this isn't the way to go about arguing it. It would be like only picking AMD sponsored titles and shitting on the 4070 Ti S for being an absolutely abysmal $800-900 card (Spoiler. It's not)
@@ThePesoguin "for single player games you got frame gen" i said it
@@Madness801 ah yes this comment will age well since frame gen 2 or 3 will probably address the horrid latency spikes it introduces on anything below 60 native or 80ish with dlss. But until that is fixed I’m gonna have to disagree with you on that one. Specifically rolled back to a 3080Ti (from 4070) because frame gen is kinda garbage at the moment but RTX 50 series should come with some exciting progression in that department
@@ThePesoguin what's garbage is getting 10 fps on max settings from a 7900 xtx 💀 have having to always put a disclaimer "same performance as a 4080 super *without rt* " its not worth 900-1000 dollars for that performance
@@Madness801 again it cost the same as a 4070 Ti S... so comparing it to the 4080 Super a card that cost much more is not fair. pretty simple take away(also keeps up in RT as well)... You can continue to circle jerk NVIDIA's 40 series bro I'll stay on my 3080 Ti 🤣 actual proof on multiple channels backing this(HUB, Daniel Owen, GN, J2C, etc) but stay watching this propaganda man 💀
Very kind of you to expose the reality of Radeon graphics cards-they are what they are: almost as expensive as NVIDIA but noticeably perform worse in many games with the latest technologies.
Hmm how about turn off ray tracing and BAM FIXED
I almost bought a 7900 XTX but I found a used 4090 and I'm really glad that's what I have now. I feel sorry for people buying gpu's that won't last long. My 4090 will probably be made obsolete in a couple of years since games are getting so hard to run but I'm going to hold onto it until it just doesn't work anymore.
4090 won’t be obsolete no time soon it’ll be obsolete maybe in like 15 years
Im on a 4070 lookimg for my next 1440 high fps gpu... 7 7800x3d.
who cares....
Its perfectly fine
I haven't tried it lately, vignette, Chromatic Aberration is absolutely horrid in this Chinese Mess.
AMD fan boys crying 😭😭
This is a car that I want to acquire in the future, AMD surprises me with the care they did with this GPU unit, and the brands will do their best to bring great graphics cards! Wait for the RX 8000 to come out to set my eyes on this RX 7900XTX card especially this TUF or Sapphire Nitro+ VaporX model. Great video..
