I’m thinking of doing one in my backyard but has grass in it. What should I use as a base? Rocks right away or should I add something else? Thanks for the video.👍🏼
Well done, looking great! What kind of weather do you have during winter? How would this kind of driveway behave during rainy, snowy, icy winter that goes in a circle with +3°C during the day with rain and -3°C during the night, probably it could be difficult, close to impossible to manage a snow cleaning on that kind of surface? Thank you!
I live in ohio 15 min down fron lake Eire. Plenty of snow. No real issues outside one corner my dog tore up 2 feet within few weeks of install. Honestly, should have done the hole driveway that way. Not 2/3 of driveway that doesnt have it looks pretty rough.
Are you still happy with the product? Is it holding the stone? Did you use #57 stone? I have a base of crush & run then thinking of putting geogrid and then #57 stone.
Yes very happy. I only had an issue in one corner when my dog decided to pull up a foot. In that case you can try to re bury or cut. We drive cars on it daily and i run my tractor on it frequently. Yes 57 is on top but i originally had, i want to say 304 as base below. Our soil has a lot of softer clay here. Hope this helps goodluck.
Thanks for the post, really good content. Best of luck on your future endeavors!
Thank you.

What is "crush & run" ? It's actually called crusher run... because they send bank run gravel through a crusher to make the stones uniform size
What clips to keep stretched out ? I got geo grid Home Depot $46 10 x 16.5 I’ll be also pouring gravel over

My clips came with the box. I also used 12 inch staples to keep it in the ground while stretching.
