I found this was missed on my ct scan and my Dutch lung doctor missed it and told me nothing was wrong with me. This was a year ago. I smoked for 13 years before trying to quit. In 2010 and 11 I had 2 major bronchitis episodes and this is what kicked off my symptoms and I had repeated lung infections that were mild. Then in 2022 I had covid 3 times, 2023 double pneumonia and covid 1 time. Followed by a major kidney infection for 3 months. 2024 covid twice and since 2011 I have chronic mucus and a chronic cough that continues today. Then my lung function test in 2021 I was diagnosed with Asthma. Last October I had a ct and a lung function test. My doctor said that my lung capacity in my left lung was low and I had mention that I had most of my complaints in my left lung for years to no avail with previous lung x-rays. Then the nurse who did the lung function test told me my lungs were not optimal because it was far below the black line. Result day I was told it was nothing and that too many doctors were not a good thing. Implying it was all in my head despite what he'd told me before after the scan. I looked in my file and there is no recording of my lung function tests. I got the ct photos that show classic bronchiectasis mostly on my left lung and a few in my right. It matches precisely with my complaints. My doctor said it wasn't copd and there was no damage seen from covid. I asked if there were other lung diseases it could be and he said no. I am livid at the medical system in the Netherlands.
U r doing a really great job... Thank you very much for that.. Could you please do some videos on primary immunodeficiency ( inborn errors of immunity) & inborn errors of metabolism... That'll be big help for most.. Thanks again..
I just got diagnosed with bronchiectasis. But also have pseudonomas that test positive with sputum that contains blood before knowing i had bronchiectasis. Ct scan of lungs was good. But doctor suggests a bronoscochopy that showed mild bronchiectasis What are your thoughts about the pseudomonas with bronchiectasis?
Thank you sir 🙏 for this information it has been so helpful for me to understand what I'm going through. Sometimes I feel that I can't stop coughing. Thank you again God-bless.
