Sometimes it feels like they play far to restrictively and try not to offload in-case it gets picked off. But when they play off the cuff and just let the ball flow. its like magic
As a Leigh fan Wigans 21 was an absolute beast well deserved man of the match. Relentless, made about 3 tackles each set and was literally everywhere and chased absolutely everything when he came on when he could’ve taken it easy and had a day off Players like that are what tonkings like this are built on

@@jackmackenzie5018 as a Wigan fan I have to say our attack last week was appalling 1 out rugby and about 2 of loads all game, we gave about 100 penalties away played about 30/40 minutes of the game with 12 men and you's only won it in the last 9/10 minutes and saint's played there best, which tells me if we played well we would blitz you's
@@ryanmcguinness7898 agreed, defensively we were great and up until Byrne got sent off we should of won. Fields definitely didn’t have a great match either so thankfully he’s made up for it against Leigh. It’s still early in the season. I’m sure on a day where we have a full 13 playing the whole 80 minutes we’ll win

I’m definitely not a fan of Wigan, but that was quite a statement.
A game we were never going to win due to the missing middles and Wigans quality, but the first 2 try's that went to screen never looked at the real questions ie was he in touch as called by the TJ and was Leutele pushed out of the way just before not clearing the ball. A long road until we can get our quality back

Also seems like all the refs are against Wigan this year we're getting hammered on penalties way more than pretty much anyone where other teams are getting away with what we're getting panalised for 🤣 Wigan get a few decisions go there way in a match and a meme goes around of moor in a Wigan top 95% of time moor swings to the other side just because he lives in Ashton, it's a joke rather than just bring a rule in were refs can't ref a game if they live in a certain mile radius of the teams playing. Still wouldn't get Kendal of saints payroll tho with how onesided he is towards them he shouldn't be aloud to ref a saint's match don't care we're he's from lol

I'm a Wigan fan and if you took 2 of the best players out of our team we'd struggle, same with any team take Lomax and dod out of saints they'd struggle, or croft and miller out of Leeds. Get my point lol?
I had forgotten that can-head was playing until I saw him in the 78th minute. How ridiculous do him and Charney now look? And that is not a dig at Charnley, still a top player.

It is a bit shitty, but ultimately player safety is priority and intentional or not, contact to the head is contact to the head
@@simonbrown6856 I know they needed to get rid of shoulder barges, and I've no issue with high 'clothesline' tackles being penalised strictly, I just think it's a race to the bottom. In 10 years it'll be touch rugby at this rate.

Yes, agreed! However, the skill factor and ability of todays players has diminished to almost zero, theres little or no imaginative play around the 'play-the-ball', teams lack almost ANY attacking variations its either pass pass pass try or kick, simply boring !!!@@anorthernsoul5600

@@michaelmarsh-bl9mg Assuming HS is practicing his goal kicking, give it AK and let HS work on other skills. Aside from that try, AK hasn't really done a lot.
I think it might knock Harry's confidence to take that away from him, but at the same time Adam Keighran is a better goal kicker. In play kicking I'd rather Harry Smith over anyone. But his goal kicking is below par sadly
