Part II French Country Master Bedroom Makeover

- Part II all the work is done and the master bedroom is finished.......well almost. All the great little up cycle jobs are done and I think the room looks great.
Almost every item in the room was thrifted or up cycled.
The wall paint colour was Benjamin Moore Whispering Spring 2136-70 eggshell finish.
JUST ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, LYNDSEY! I LOVE EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY, BEAUTIFUL!

I love your channel because you give a lot of good ideas and you repurpose and reuse so much of your decor, proving yet again you don’t need to go buy new all the time. I really like the box lid idea and I’m sure I’ll use it in the future. ❤

Just finished hand sewing some cute little printed weighty linen curtains from thrifted fabric $2 remnant. They are for my bathroom. I hung them with delicate vintage German brass curtain clips so I can slide them open and closed. They turned out gorgeous. Hand sewing made them hang beautifully and the hand hemming all the way round was all invisible from the front which really adds a nice tailored look. You have inspired me to get going on my projects now that the cold weather is settling in. I love your decorating style. Its funny, I was going to switch to a rustic cottage farmhouse theme but I have so many lovely fine old things after decades of collecting for our previous Victorian home Im pressing on with the more English and French Country collected look even though we gutted and rehabbed a 1980’s ranch home on wooded acreage. It was a 12 year labor of love and we chose this ranch home to transition into older age. We have lots of log style homes around here but I still love my finer things😊. Its in my English blood I guess.
Everything sounds lovely. I also love to hand sew some times things just look better. When I get back home I am going to start a show and tell day , honestly I can’t wait to see what amazing projects have been done by everyone. Thanks so much for watching ❤️

What a wonderful room. I would enjoy having sweet dreams there. It’s so calming and romantic. The shelf bed crown conversion is greatly creative, really thinking out side the box, as is the mirror that went from early colonial to fabulous French. I have been looking to a mirror to do this very thing to myself ever since I saw yours. Keep doing such inspiring projects. Thank you!

Curtains, sheets, pillows and accessories, the quilt is red ticking stripes. Hoping to add wallpaper above the chair rail and reupholster a couple of chairs. Am always on the lookout for red transferware too.
@@denisecoviello5619 it’s sounds great and adding the the red stripe on the bed is a nice touch. Red velvet chairs would be magnificent in the room but velvet is always a perfect addition in my opinion 😊♥️
Lynsey, did you recover those chairs in the bedroom with the toile fabric? You really did a super job. I love toile but recovering anything as a chair
