Ligier LMP3 Proto Driving Experience

Roaring, rumbling, groaning and shivering; the thundering sounds of this machine resemble those of a prehistoric beast in a dark cave... Could I have ever imagined to drive this immaculate Le Mans Prototype racing car? No, not at all! And then, suddenly, two years ago LRS Formula announced a new driving experience; drive a Ligier LMP3 Proto yourself... What!? You mean; by me?! Okay, I'm in! ;-)
To experience the thrill of the 24 hours of Le Mans was on my bucket list for more than a decade. The event truly has no equal. It is unimaginable how many people it attracts. I have seen dozens, maybe even close to a hundred, camping sites inside and near the track packed with fans camping there to not miss out of anything.
So, when I was a first time spectator of the Le Mans endurance race in 2019, laying in my tent at night and enjoying the extreme diversity of racing sounds of fast vehicles rushing on their way in the dark, I thought I had checked this box on my bucket list... But in 2022 I experienced driving such a Le Mans Prototype racing car myself for the first time at circuit Dijon-Prenois. And in 2023 I repeated this experience, but this time with a newer version of the Ligier LMP3 car and at another track; circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours Grand Prix. .

Hi Gerard, thank you for your compliment and for watching. I hope, we will meet again some day. You are a true pleasure to spend a racing day with. This actual LMP3 was a delight to drive. So much better than the previous one we drove together last year. As well in steering (much better feeling because less influenced by power steering) as in braking (much better braking with a lot less brake pedal force needed). Do you have race plans for 2024?

Hi Joost, about 2024 nothing really well defined...Budget will drive as usual...FR 2.0 for sure and one extra still To Be Defined. I will let you know after Christmas offers. All my very best , I look forward to meet you again in 2024 on a track! Cheers@@dreamitraceit

Bonjour LegitDlr, il semblerait que LRS Formula ne propose plus cette expérience. Il s'agissait d'une collaboration entre LRS Formula et mracingexperience.com, où cette expérience est mentionnée sur le site Web. Mais je n'ai pas encore reçu de réponse de Mracing à ma demande d'information. La seule expérience que j’ai, c’est la façon dont cela a été organisé via LRS Formula. Et cela a très bien fonctionné. LRS Formula propose parfois de nouvelles offres et il semble qu'il vaut mieux être rapide. Par exemple, j'ai longtemps hésité à essayer la Jaguar F1, principalement à cause du prix, mais cette option a pris fin l'année dernière, donc l'opportunité a été perdue. Dommage, car j'aurais pensé que ce serait vraiment cool de conduire ça. Merci d'avoir regardé ma vidéo et pour votre question.

Wat GAAF Joost!! Wat een bizar wild ogende machines zijn het toch, die LMPs en wat een geluid! Dankzij jouw tips heb ik dinsdag 10/10 een geweldige F1 Bronze experience gehad!! Hebben we elkaar een dagje misgelopen?

Hoi Jakko, wat super gaaf, dat je daadwerkelijk een experience hebt gedaan 👍! Vertel; hoe heb je het ervaren? Is het gelukt om er een video van te maken en ga je die plaatsen op UA-cam? Mijn rit in de LMP3 was 27 juli dit jaar; ik ben niet eerder toegekomen aan het verwerken van de video. Let in de tweede helft van december op aanbiedingen van LRS Formula, mocht je nog een keer willen gaan.
