I think its a great idea ! I decided to put them on my challenger. Good thing is if you decide you don't like it you don't need to buy another hood! The cars today don't really need hood pins but these cars are 70's muscle reproduction cars and the hood pins were a American muscle favorite
Hey Toro. I’m guessing that if a Challenger has Oem hood pins they were factory. I doubt dealers would do it. Maybe some? Funny thing is even though they have a hole drilled in the hood for fitment it’s still an adhesive that secures them. Am I wrong?
I bought mine at Steve White motors in Hickory North Carolina, Factory hood pins in black with black cables, you must drill the hood, but it's not going fly up going down the road, looks great
@@CCW-wg8ds I got them from amazon actually and so far they are fine I am getting my good pins order coated black and coated so they don’t rust Bc that is a thing people advised to look out for with them
Gotcha. I wished Chevy had come out with a retro Nova! Would be cool but probably not enough demand and sales would probably not be like the Camaro. Like your videos.
Bro so glad you decided to do this mod. I have not gotten my challenger yet but this is a must have for me just looks sexy and aggressive! Thank you for being the first to do a vid like this!

does hood pins slow down the car? When racing, do you take off the cable / wire ?
Not at all
I’m curious, how did these hold up since it’s two years old and where did you get these from?
Held up well for about 7-10 months and from Amazon
Any tips on how to make it last longer, or better to reapply it after every 6 months?
My 1320 came with the Mopar hood pin kit. It does give it that race car look.
I wish mine did I love the hood pin look
How did you put the cable on to the pins? You can’t open the pins and I am having trouble figuring it out
I had to open the pins slightly using pliers
Imagine getting asked to open your hood with fake pins lmao
Imagine having a slow car 😂🤷♂️
No one really needs hood pins anymore it’s just for looks
All about looks
Ohhhhhhhhh I can only imagine!! ya wee girl that ye are……

Most of them were factory Yea but I know Steve white motors up in hickory will do it
So adhesive still holds them and I think a few screws
