It takes more time, but I find it easier on the labor side to soak small parts in vinegar with only slight agitation with small brush and then rinse in baking soda water to neutalize, then they will look brand new... Give it a try on some rusty junk stuff, you'll be surprised.

Long day! You're making me wish I cleaned and painted up my calipers/brackets. It's hard working with minimal tools 😬 a blast cabinet would be perfect, I can only imagine the dusty mess after cleaning those up. Gonna shoot for this week to install my struts/springs, I received the hardware a few days ago. I'll shoot you some pics when it's finished! 😁 As always, great video!
As a noob this is awesome. I wasn't even fully sure where to jack this thing up from lol(mines pretty crusty to say the least). Definitely subbed. Also in 98 700 of these were blue, out of like 1600 or something. So it's the most common color
oh also man try posting this stuff on some facebook groups for 2.5 rs/gm6/gc8 or w/e, this deserves more views. A lot of people are in a similar boat as me for these old RS (not experienced)
can you show how you repaired the rusted inner wheel wells? Also how do you fix rusted side skirts?
Please make a video of installing front bumper i have a 96 impreza no accident record and i cant get a 98 front bumper to line up and i am not trying to change my radiator support or fenders but I guess will if I need to what you think? And I'd go wrx wheels
The hood I got from a 98 also dosent line up with my grille and lights tried adjusting every way possible *and I do have 98 headlights and grille*

Cool video man love your subies man. I had a question i tried putting my jack stands on the frame rails like u said and it didnt work lol my frame rails are weak? For some reason my pinch welds ar ein better shape and hold the weighf of the GC better? Just asking of this is normal as you have a lot of the pro tips and have a lot of good knowldege. Love the content man very interésting!
