I took down a wasp nest last week in my backyard and the other day I saw the surviving wasp just hanging out outside my backyard window. I legitimately think they are scoping me out and planning to attack me next time I need to cut my grass.
Geo always looks away or at Tiff whenever Julia is talking. Very noticable after years of watching JKN. Also notice Tiff's eyes and the direction they point at whenever Julia starts talking.
Hieillua Kinda odd how you'd study this so much after years. I dunno man, i doubt there's any deep meaning to it as we don't have a true insight of their lives and how they are off camera with eachother. But who knows
True it's always been noticeable.. Many fans have mentioned that before... Tiff & Geo have their own inside things/looks going on while Hoolia speaks or whatever..
The guys try to entertain Julia's stories. Especially Joe! They also try to joke along & tease her in a cute sibling way! Julia's one of the guys!!😀😃😄💚
Adult Wasps don't eat insects, they hunt them for their Larvae, they eat nectar but they can't pollinate because they are slick and don't have fur on them. Hornets are a type of wasps.
What do wasps eat? "Wasps hunt a wide variety of prey, mainly other insects (including other Hymenoptera), both larvae and adults. The Pompilidae specialize in catchingspiders to provision their nests. Some social wasps are omnivorous, feeding on fallen fruit, nectar, and carrion such as dead insects." -Wiki What's the purpose of those foos? "In early summer wasps, like bees, pollinate plants and flowers as they feed on nectar. If we were to eradicate all wasps it would cause more problems than it would solve. So, wasps do serve a purpose and despite being a problem at certain times of the year, they are a beneficial insect." -Also Wiki
Love you JkCrew!!! You guys are the absolute best and I have been watching you guys for 4 years and your still one of my absolute FAVORITE UA-camrs!!!💛😍💛
This happened to me when I was 14 and they stung me everywhere! On my arms, legs and scalp. I was shaking like crazy, I remember trying to get the wasps off my hair. I still have some scars from where they stung me, they are just tiny little circle scars.
dont feel bad because, bees in america really arent that important as people say, honey bees came from europe, north america already had it's own pollinators even before the honey bees, the hoeny bees in america are just an invasive insect, they make honey thats good but they compete against the none honey making native pollinators and are making them die off. in europe u can feel bad about killing em but in america they arent a big deal, u should actually feel better killing em.
I used to beekeep and one time I worked w those African bees... Them fuckers is crazy I had a full suit and they still found every part that was tight contact and stung me. I was stung like 10 times in 5 seconds and had such a crazy adrenaline rush I almost passed out.
My sis was walking around the college from lunch and she saw a moth fluttering around. She went closer and when it turned around, it was being eaten by a wasp
Once I got stung in the back of my head during PE and when I went to the office they kicked me out b/c the bee was still in my hair. I was in so much pain and they didn't even help me take it out, luckily one of my teachers was heading to the office and helped me, don't think I would've been able to get it out on my own
Me too David but the bees near me are only resting because by the time I get back they fly away. But Amazon sells a Bee emergency shot. And it’s a plastic syringe with a basic sugar(honey) and water mix so that they can drink and get better
The tarantula hawk is terrifying! It’s within the top 5 most painful bits you can ever experience!! They say if you get stung by one, just sit down for your safety. Otherwise you’re likely to run and could run into on coming traffic since you’re not thinking straight. What they do to tarantulas is kinda terrifying too. I have a phobia of spiders but even I feel bad for the tarantula! Horrible death. They are pretty though!
David was more than likely referring to a Tarantula Hawk. My friend used to have a pet Tarantula Hawk and those things are pretty terrifying to say the least.
Wasps most certainly do have stingers. Unlike honey Bees, which lose their stringers after stinging you, a wasp does not and is able to sting you repeatedly. Hornets, wasps and yellow Jackets all fall into this category.
We do need bees for sure! Wasps on the other hand. Even though they eat other insects (better include mosquitoes) then I guess we are okay, even though dragon flies do the same. Nice video about bees :D
When I was a kid, a wasps next was outside my living room window and I sprayed the shit out of the nest with Mortein or sumfin and a bunch of wasps tried to sting me through the window screen shield. When it was done, closed the window, waited the next day and just saw a bunch of wasps died on the ledge of the outer side of the window, about more than 10...
some quick facts cuz JK crew got some stuff wrong. - Wasps can be Nectarivores or eat both nectar and other small insects. They can be either Eusocial or solitary in their behavior. Meaning that they can work together in large colonies with a structured hierarchy and order or be independent hustlers ;) Several species have parasitic behavior like the jewel wasp that lays it's egg inside a cockroach so the larva could eat it from the inside out. Yikes! Some wasps are more closely related to bees instead of wasps, but are close cousins to ants and bees. Only females have venom that can sting you with. but for example a fig wasp cannot sting you.
Dang! Now I wanna go save some bees, but......you know.....they sting. Same with Bengal tigers, wolves, and Elephants but they don't know I'm here to help. They'll just bite or stomp me down.
I thought my kids how to save bees n my 6 years old daughter bravely picks em up and take em to water...til she got stung 😂😂 she was confused why it stung her when she was just trying to help...smh. I never told her to pick em up...but to give em water lol
I've been stung 36 times at once, I was helping my sister clear trees in her yard a few years back, she chopped down a branch and as i went to lift it thousands of wasps came flying out of the concealed nest and chased me through the garden literally like a cartoon. Her inlaws were pissing themselves with laughter because they didn't realise what was happening. The wasps in a swarm literally chased me into the house and up stairs while the family followed lol...i stripped of and jumped in the shower, my sister started hosing me with cold water while her mother inlaw sprayed me with insectiside!! 36 stings later and slight ingestion of insectiside I'm still here lol. Thank fuck cause my mum os allergic, if I was too i'd probably be dead.
well the editor much bee a fan of braves wildness because of the iron con edited i just saw the iron con but didn't see the video until joe try to say what brave wildness is HEY JOE IF YOU WANT TO KNOW IT IT CALLED "BRAVE WILDERNESS"
Tiff "they hunt other insects...... And adults"
😂😂😂what??
a peanut lol. I’m like “adults? Adult what? Just humans? Not kids though?”
Bro 😂 I'm stuck on it too.
RyLw I think she got cut off, she was going to say adult wasps... do something, idk
I’m 99.9% sure she meant adult wasps lol
Adult wasp hunt insect to feed their young or to lay an egg inside it's body. Adult wasp only feed on nectar. I think this was what she's gonna say
I took down a wasp nest last week in my backyard and the other day I saw the surviving wasp just hanging out outside my backyard window.
I legitimately think they are scoping me out and planning to attack me next time I need to cut my grass.
K
Watch out. Wasps are shady 😑
I saw a wasp nest in the ground and I stuck a plastic spoon in it and squished it
Dude Wazap bees and wasps leave a type of feramone when they die that alerts other bees n wasps to attack
A C So they really are plotting to attack me.

Bring Theo von back
He would've been perfect for this episode
Yessssss!!! Omg he was fucking hilarious
Adult Wasps don't eat insects, they hunt them for their Larvae, they eat nectar but they can't pollinate because they are slick and don't have fur on them. Hornets are a type of wasps.
Anyone else look up the tarantula hawk after? Apparently it's the second most painful sting in out of all insects... David you got lucky bro

Omg literally when I'm dealing with bees and wasps right now!
NOT THE BEES!!!
you dont know true fear until you've had to take a cup of gasoline to throw on a wasp nest and run for your life lol
The terantula hawk** actually has the second most painful sting in the animal kingdom behind the bullet ant.
SAVE THE BEES. We don’t want that Black Mirror episode to happen
*I’ll BEE back*
Tiffs laugh is like casey laugh. They belong together.

Give bees sugar water. It helps them a lot. Especially when one is tired and weak.
So the podcast. Is this like an uncut extended version of these videos??
JK girls ❤❤❤ Love Geo, Tiff & Julia ❤❤❤
Anyone checking their surroundings while they watch the video in case of a bug?

Late notification squad!
i love julia's shirt!!! :D
Cotoye Peterson shoutout!!!
A bee bounced off my lip too once!
Just to point some of my knowledge. Bees are not the only pollinators. Honey bees are over competing with other non bee pollinators.
Hey its coyote 😂
I planted bee wild flowers and saved one from my pool, made sure he was good. He dried off and flew away
Tarantula Hawk vs David So Slim. Lol, he'd be David So Terrified

Allen Silva They live in Dallas tho
Eating Turkey/Potatoes while watching JustKiddingNews
When I was a kid in elementary school we used to throw rocks at the ground sand bees and feed them to the spiders
The pic they used from brave wilderness wasnt a tarantula hawk lol
If you image their conversations as drunk people speaking, then their random conversations make more sense
Btw bees are an invasive species from Europe, they took up space and kicked off other pollinators. If they died, we could adapt.
Haha lol guys it's called a tarantula hawk, one of the most painful stings there is
Bee keepers do get stung by bees they are just immune to the sting
