Much appreciated Loc! Appreciate you watching and will do our best to keep more coming your way! Are there any other areas of Scottsdale/Phoenix you are interested in?
What is the job situation? How much $ for housing. What is the median $ for purchasing a new house, condo or townhome. What is the temperature year round? So many questions, so little time, lol. A guide other than entertainment or physical activities will be greatly appreciated.
Lol yes all great questions! Appreciate the feedback. I do have a full playlist with videos re Scottsdale that may have a few answers to your questions but when it comes to home pricing, that is constantly changing! Happy to jump on a zoom call with you and give you all the answers you are looking for. Reach out anytime 602-734-7263
Yeah that was the case back in 2020 which was brutal. We had a record number of days that were 110+ (not exactly 6 months but it felt like it). The last couple years have been better but even with 4 months of extreme heat, the summers can be challenging when trying to figure out what to do with your kids. Having a pool is a huge help but not the only solution. So we try to find ways to get outside as early as we can and then find places with air conditioning during the day. And of course, we do our best to get up and spend time in Northern AZ where the temps are usually 25 to 30 degrees less.
I moved from AZ to the midwest because of the heat (other reasons as well). My kids are outside spring, summer, and fall out here. In AZ my kids were inside unless its Nov to March, April if lucky. AZ is great for people who love to swim. Its a nice place to live if you can take the heat and overpopulation.
Good question. In my point of view, the most difficult months are July, August and September. Both June and October are also usually pretty hot as well, just not as unbearable and you will hopefully still have a chance for cooler temps in the morning and evening. This year was especially tough with a record number of days over 100 and 110 but thankfully is it beautiful now!
Yeah I hear you but the only downside to that would be even higher prices and less affordability if that were the case. Thankfully, we are only a short drive or flight to get to the beach so that is helpful but I do love the ocean as much as anyone (:
Hey Carol. Thanks for reaching out. Yes, I think most people would agree that the dry heat is much more manageable than dealing with the heat/humidity combo so the heat may not bother you that much but once we have consistent 110+ days throughout the summer, I still think it starts to wear on people. But you never have to deal with extreme cold or snow again so most people think the trade off is worth it.
Great question but difficult to answer in a comment. So many different variables to consider. I actually did another video which breaks down Scottsdale into 5 different areas and compares all of them. Might be worth a watch to help answer your question a little better. Here's a link if you want to check it out. ua-cam.com/video/1eBmcu3dXEw/v-deo.html If you watch that one and still have questions between the two, let me know!
Yep that's true. We even see triple digits in May and October at certain points. But October is the worst because most people are just over the extreme heat at that point.
I can't believe you would talk about Rudy like that! He is one of the nicest guys I know (: But seriously, I had a lot of the same beliefs before I lived in Scottsdale myself and then realized that most people are very nice and approachable if you don't judge them up front. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are plenty of people who probably aren't that nice but you will find that anywhere. My advise is don't be too judgmental before you truly talk to someone. They might surprise you!
True. I lived in Scottsdale, Chandler, and Mesa...and Phoenix as well. Hands down, East Valley is a great place for friendly people. If I had to live in AZ again, Chandler would be my choice.

How do you function in 110 degrees?? geeez. I'd love to move there, but worried about the kiddos and the heat! YOu said 6 months of 110 every day??

Living in Phoenix AZ- how many months out of the year is there unbearable hot weather in scottsdale metro ? and what months are they?

@@LivinginPhoenixAZ how do you work in that hot condition? I'm from SF California
Arizona would be perfect if there’s a beach 🏖

Ok even though uts 105 ° and hot, does it feel better that its not humid? Im from the East Coast tons of humidity here?

What’s the difference between living in North Scottsdale vs Old Town ? The people etc
