Thanks. I was 30 then but when I was 15 I lived in Frazier projects, sad they tore them down every time I go to Memphis. I can guarantee that I have smoked with that man and would have never imagined that I would hear him ten years later on a CD
15 years ago I was a 19 year old skater on everything but H. I would listen to this song everyday like a theme song while my only objective was to get high off whatever I could find and OD’d twice. Never thought I’d see 30. I’m 36 and actually clean, finishing up college and started a business. Crazy.
Good for you buddy!! Alot of us been there also! We was about the same age and I was the same way now I'm a successful diesel mechanic! My kids cleaned me up!
I listen to metal. Over the summer my husband (also a metal head) played this song and I instantly jammed out to it. Since then I've listened to it every day and learned the lyrics. I had surgery a couple weeks ago, each time I have to pop a perc I play this song 😅
I was 18 when this song came out. Times were different back then. I worked at a hospital cleaning from ‘07-‘09 and I used to clean a geriatric psychiatrists office. He had sample packs of Seroquel, Ambien, and Lyrica. I would take them and an Rx pad to write myself a script for Vic’s and Percs. Things weren’t controlled and watched so much back then. I tried too many fckn pills and it was a mess. I nvr did coke or heroin but it’s still not good. I feel bad for these kids today because everything is laced. I had a lot of fun but I did a lot of dumb shit. This song brings me memories.
the time you went to your psychiatrist and asked for Seroquel because of this song. Took one could not literally leave the couch. I hope your liver is doing okay. I am strictly organic mood stabilizers now.
Been 20 years since Lil Wyte dropped this classic. Had to remake it. Let me know what I should remix next.
