  • Our Country's Good is a 1990 play written by British playwright, Timberlake Wertenbaker, adapted from the Thomas Keneally novel The Playmaker. The story concerns a group of Royal Marines and convicts in a penal colony in New South Wales Australia in the 1780s, who put on a production of The Recruiting Officer. Directed by Barbara MacKenzie-Wood; cast Includes: Tate McGhee, Lordes Benedicto, Hank Jacobs, Rebecca Metz, Tami Dixon, David Metz, Zach Shaffer, Jayson Williams, David Reeves, Tina Wager, Vicki Reiniger. Performed October 1st, 1994 in the Studio Theatre/ College of Fine Arts @ Carnegie Mellon University.
