I used to work as a penguin keeper so I am so excited for the little penguins! The chicks do get pretty huge, when they leave the nest they can be bigger than their parents(!) so it's pretty realistic having the juveniles be almost adult sized in the game :)
Well then ive learned something new today 😅 It looked so weird to me having a baby being bigger than the adult 😅
The penguin chicks looking bigger than their parents is realistic. This is one of the few packs where I love every animal in it (even though I would have liked birds instead of another bat).

Me!!! I would love to have birth animation for all animals :D and laying eggs and hathing for birds and reptiles :D that would be so cool!
I really wish they'd give a birth animation to all animals, but I sadly doubt they would update all the 166 animals.
Yes having a female lioness growling while giving birth then lick the Cubs.
Or a girafe falling from 2 meters when they're born.
Antelope licking the baby.
Heck why not bird and reptile nest and the mother incubating the eggs, and eggs actually hatching.
Having an ostricth helping the chicks to walk, having a crocodile opening the mound/nest to free the barking/squikking little crocs by dozens.
That could even help, some reptile and bird might not breed withouth sand or dirt near a heater.
And eggs can be destroyed before they hatch or sold to other zoo if the player don't want babies.
Maybe even have incubator with higher rate of success while hatching.
While some or most won't hatch in the habitat.
But even better.
Multiple life stage.
Not just baby and adult.
Newborn-baby-juvenile-adolescent-subadult-adult-elder.
All with different behaviour, specific animation and apparence.
Also some changes on group size of some species.
Because only 8 bisons is ridiculously low.
(Now that i think about it, we don't have european wisent in game, or yak or Wapiti, or sika deer, thats a shame they're common in zoos)

Monkey
Apes
Elephant
Girafe
Rhino
Horse and zebra
Buffaloes and bisons
Meaning they need maybe 50 animations at most.
They can do it in several update like for swimming animation

Yeah, should be get Matchie's Tree Kangaroo and New Zealand Fur Seal and I hope it.🦘🌳🌏🦭🟤
The Kakapo isn't in any zoos, it's only population is on a small sanctuary island, so including it would be unrealistic. NZ sea lion would be pretty cool to have but we already have the California sea lion, which would be too similar.

I love the Tasmanian Devil. I have been asking for it since the Australian pack as it is my favourite animal and will complete my Aussie zoo.
Since the flying fox is my favorite animal in real life, it definitely pushed this to a "must buy" to me. I don't know if it is in the game, but they have spectacular color variants in real life.

As a Tasmanian the animal that I am most excited is the Tassie devil. Great to see some recognition from Frontier from our most known animal but I do like kiwis both the people and the bird not the fruit.

Those drift wood with ropes, ropes and the netting are just amazing and might be enough for me to buy this pack just for them. Also a birthing animation for all aninals would be amazing but I'm not going to hope for it, I'm just happy with what we got and wouldn't be dissipointed if it doesn't come in the game

As an Australian that often sails around the Mornington Peninsula (peninsula in Victoria, Australia which is nearby Phillip Island, a place with lots of fairy penguins), I often see little penguins in the water, and I even had one jump on my boat. They’re adorable little birds, and I’m so glad they’re in the game
Tasmanian devils have been one of my favorite animals since I was a kid. Owe it all to the crocodile Hunter ❤❤❤❤
I love that Frontier remembered for the Tasmanian Devil that not only do they have a pouch, but a backwards-facing one at that since they're quadrupeds. I'm not gonna lie I was thrown off seeing the baby fall from the pouch too bc I was like "Omg, did they actually put birthing animations in the game somehow?" Imagine my slight disappointment (not in a bad way but like "Fool me once x'd", giving them props for the back pouch fooling us lol
One of the best packs for new pieces and flora, I love the trees and almost everything is recolorable.
I don't really care for the Tasmanian devil but the three other animals are very good, and we finally have an aquatic animal!

So excited to see my Aotearoa represented in planet zoo! The kiwi is 100!!
Not only does the Tasmanian devil have a pouch, they are also the world's largest carnivorous marsupial. They also give birth to around 30 Joey's at once, however because they only have 3 teats in the pouch the first 3 joey's to reach them will survive and the rest will die. Then the mum will take care of the 3 joey's for about a year.

Whoever did the modeling/frame and
/or texturing for the Quokkas needs a promotion. Ditto gor the animations. This is hands-down the most true-to-life animal in this pack (and several others) and has the most natural-looking animations.
Also, IRL Tasmanian Devils will eat their young. O.o

Yesss, they're so cute! I've been smitten with them ever since I watched the video of Cookie the little penguin for the first time.
With the walkthrough exhibits, I've been having my singers crossed for a sugar glider exhibit. It would be too cute to see them hop and glide around the exhibit with guests walking below!

Quokka is easily my favorite of the pack, but the Tasmanian devil is amazing aswell as the penguins

I'm surprised that the Tasmanian devil doesn't have any colour variations, with how many the other habitat animals do. In the wild they can be anywhere between black and brown, and no white markings to large white markings (sometimes the chest stripe goes all the way down the side of the body). The one they went with is most common though!
It's nice to have a second bat, but it'd be nicer to have a parrot or sugar glider. :P
Otherwise the pack looks amazing, so much detail and character and those building pieces are so good!! This is such a great overview as well, well edited with lots of clarity 🦘
I think there will be variations, i noticed in the birth scene that one of the young did not have a white mark on it's butt like it's sibling and mother did.

The flying foxes MUST mean that we are getting birds, right? RIGHT?
Uhm.. no? Why? We already had bats in the game: Egyptian Fruit Bat 😅 So I dont really see why the Flying Fox would change anything regarding birds 🙈 I really think if they planned birds, they would have already given birds by now after almost 4 years 🙈
@@DeLadysigner sure, we already had bats, but... they basically have the mechanics necessary for birds, right? What's keeping them from adding them now that we have two flying animals in the game? We know Frontier takes a long time to make some things and get them right.

Yes surely!? At this point with us having two types of bat it would be an incredibly strange and creepy decision for them to finish a game with literally no flying aviary birds?! One of the most commonplace parts of any zoo and fundamental categories of the animal kingdom…..

It's a nice selection of species, but it would have been really fun if they had managed to include Keas here.
Problem is most people outside of nz wouldn't know what a Kea is. It would be awesome to have them in the game though, solving puzzles and harassing guests!

I was already stoked for these critters! Now I'm a bit bummed out that it's just a simple reskin of the bat for the flying fox, but I'm still glad to have another flying walkthrough exhibit. I love the kiwi piebald, what a cutie patootie!

Tasmanian devil almost totally died out because they were suffering from a specific virus that was giving them cancer even now the number are still on the low side
if they will add birth animations for all animals will the caimans and crocs lay eggs?
We dont even know if they will add simular type of animations to all other animals that dont have a pouch, honestly 😅 I think birds laying eggs really isnt going to happen 🙈

@@DeLadysigner I'm in a silly mood today...I put up with my friend's toddler attempting to dress me like a princess earlier today. Don't judge me hahaha
hmmmmm. as a kiwi, so that people are aware... IRL kiwi (the birds) are extremely nocturnal so you will never see them out in the daylight unless something is very wrong. Also, typically guests will not enter into an exhibit with a kiwi, it can cause huge stress. I'm a little bit disappointed based on this video, there doesn't seem to be any habitats keeping them entirely in the dark like we would see at wildlife reserves in NZ. I understand this is a game but this is literally our national bird so you'll have to forgive me for being passionate.
Ik how you feel I am from NZ as well, but you have to keep in mind that most of PZ's player base is not from NZ and so doesn't know what a Kiwi enclosure would look like, also the Devs have obvi never seen a Kiwi in real life as one of their enrichments is a termite mound 💀

Yeah well, there are tons of nocturnal animals in the game that dont have nocturnal behavior 😊 So the Kiwi is (unfortunatly) not an exception 😅
The game also doesnt have seasons or night animations in general, im afraid its just not build for these type of animations 😊
Who knows, maybe they will change that ever in Planet Zoo 2 in years from now 😊

@@DeLadysignerThe thing is a zoo in Miami (I think) had a Kiwi encounter where they took the Kiwi out in the middle of the day to get petted by people, and they got in trouble with the NZ department of conservation
