These are the most brutal drum tones I've ever heard.
Man I remember seeing this guy live in Greece opening for Animals as Leaders and Dream Theater and HO-LY-SHIT he was amazing! His skill is unparalleled. Easily the best technical guitarist of this generation.

Ever since I heard the opening riff in the studio update ive been waiting to hear this song. The rest of the song is even better than I expected.

That was Born of Osiris,
He quit Chelsea Grin on his own terms because he wasn't evolving with the band.
Basically, all they did was limit him to chugs.

Jason kinda did ruin CG... he took them into his own style and evolved them (literally). Evolve was their objectively most talented EP but everyone knew it would kinda go downhill from there. It got light, Ashes was super hit or miss, CG totally lost their My Damnation sound. Jason made them far too synth focused if anything.
I wonder where CG would be without Jason honestly, I kinda think they might have stayed better longer who knows, one member doesnt change a band the entire band has to agree with it obv. CG had their own sound Jason changed for the worse really and hes destined for better things than being in CG anyway.
Absolute best show of all time would be these guys, AAL, and periphery. Fight me if I'm wrong haha.
