Holy crap, Kelvin! You're utterly amazing! 1) I didn't realize that the Hi-Aces had the engine under the cockpit like the old Estima vans did. That must be a nightmare to work on, because it's so cramped! Major respect to you! 2) When you took off the upper intake manifold and I saw that cold start injector, my heart skipped a beat. See, when I took my plenum off, I ended up destroying the cold start injector's fuel hose. (Stupid noob move.) Lexus said 2 things that sank my heart: a) "discontinued"; b) $166. In the end, I found a local hose and fitting shop that was able to custom make me a reproduction for a paltry $10, but before that happened, I had nightmares of having to discard my engine because of a stupid hose. Haha. Yeah...I live in Canada, so I definitely cannot delete my cold start injector. I'm learning so much, Kelvin. You're a rockstar.
Hello Josh. That is the plan. Some bloody virus slowed me down a bit. The plan is to take my youngest daughter traveling around NZ meeting guys I deal with an doing videos. Time with my daughter , and catching up with 1uz guys. Cheers Kelvin
I never realised there was a global issue with them until I did a google search just now. I have soarer / sc400 come in , I work on them, maintain them properly and get everything up to spec and they run flawlessly. Ill add it to my list as for me it really is just another day at the office and easy to fix. Cheers
I'd love to see something on this, it's something that my car does, it's not an end of world thing but it's there. Always felt that even my mate's old JZZ31 was better right off the mark. I believe it's to do with the A341's line pressure modulation solenoid.
Absolutely. Making up engine mounts is quite simple. We used to have a guy here that made adaptors to the z32 box too but havent used any for a while now. For mounts I start with my universal kitset and provided I have the car its quite a straightforward jobs. Ive seen a few z32 with uz over my time.
Ive watched a few now. I have raced dirtbikes in my time too. We have more mud over here than you seem to have. haha. I keep looking at dirtbikes but at present have other things to focus on. Cheers Kelvin
Wish I had that hiace in Fiji..no one would even dare to get close not even the land cruiser 200series..best conversion ever
Love your work bro

Good day Mate,
Hello Paul. Hope everything is well with you.
Would you be available to do my van? I dont know much about it but just want a v8 in my toyota hiace 2000 model..
Love your work man❤
Your awsum bro
Love the conversion on this hiace, any idea about the mounting?
Yes, this van is mounted on a set of my own engine mounts, I've been making and suppling them for years. ua-cam.com/video/yJKWBVmDR0w/v-deo.html
Hey kelvin, have you done a vid on the notorious low rpm hesitation that the sc400/soarer has? If not then you should.

Any chance you know how to fab up some engine mounts and a trans adapter plate to run a 1uz in a z32 300zx with a z32 manual trans mate? Cheers

@@CartuneNZ Im in australia mate any chance you are still able to do some mounts without access to my car?
Have you used a haltech before whats your opinion on it if so
We have haltech videos coming. I work with many ecus and find them fine. Cheers Kelvin

Sure is. Had some feedback from the dyno recently too and its going awesome over a year later. Cheers Kelvin
