I have been fortunate to have made the pilgrimage to Brians gravesite from Australia a few times over the years and each time the site the lawn was well tended to, maybe the workers there have gotten a little lax of late. Such a perfect place to lay Brian to rest. At the entrance, the building looks like a small castle. The place is very quiet, the grass uncut, which gives it a more restful look, rather than a place where there are always people working, keeping the grass short and disturbing the area and I like that Brian's headstone is white, which makes it stand out. Of course, I would rather Brian were still around and living a happy life . But as long as I live, Brian will live in my memory .

50 years ago the strolling bones weren’t such an institution, so his grave is modest considering what it would have been after 50 years of success.my dad used to laugh at this band….he’s dead now and now all generations show respect to this phenomenal band….but i dont think Brian would want to waste cash on a selfish grand memorial..being a show off at the grave he didn’t need to do that..did he ?

Not a Rolling Stone... a Standing Stone... That's a pretty standard burial place. Apparently there aren't as many fans there as there were at Jim Morrison's grave.

Jim's remains were flown back to America a few years after the burial. I'm not sure if all the fans know that.

The Stones died July 3, 1969. Brian would have looked W A Y out of place on these ridiculous spectacles that pass for Stones concerts. Keith and Ron stumbling around stage with no idea what day it is or what country they're in. 20 f'ing guitarists, on stage, back stage, on tape playing what Keith and Brian (or Mick or Ron) put on record - only times 20. Not for me. Looks and sounds pathetic. Mick should make a workout video for seniors and just be done.

03/07/1969/03/07/1971 ,so it's been 2 years either side that Brian Jones & Jim Morrison died on those dates.
