Hello, nice job. Do u now if it is possible to connect a second battery and have two instead of one? The 1200mah and another one of 3400mah and have a total of 4600mah? (I have tg113)
I'm not sure about the 113 if it has enough space for two but if it does you have to make sure both batteries have the same capacity. Like both have to be 1200mAh or 3400mAh. You can't have different capacities when connecting in parallel.
Nice! Was planning to replace the battery and this is a great reference. I wanna ask, Is it ok to use 2200mAh 18650 refurbished samsung battery on this speaker? TY.
I guess as long as both batteries are from the same place and have the same charge before getting connected in parallel. Best to use new batteries. If you change the speaker to 10w you will only get 5w from it because the amplifier is only capable of outputting 5w.
Just happened to upgrade the battery after recieving the product, i need to do it because the playtime sucks, and i use samsung icr18650-22f 2200 mah like yours, altough the problem is it charge so slow lol...
Hi idk if I'm gonna get an answer but ok. So I'm planning to upgrade the battery of this one into a 4400mah battery that I have, but I don't have an BMS, can I use the original one on my 4400 battery? Thanks
Yes just use the BMS from the original battery of the speaker, you might want to make sure that battery really has 4400mAh. Unless you have two cells in parallel to make up that amount of mAh. The highest I've seen on a good cell is 3500mAh. More than that, then that's just too good to be true.
Hi , i just did the same thing that you did , same bluetooth speaker . I used 2 batteries from a power bank and it seems to work but I'm not sure what batteries they are , because the power bank it's a fake chinese one and I wanna know if it's safe to use them . Maybe if you can send me some pictures on instagram to check them or something , thanks. It's same batteries like you used but it's 2 of them , that's all Oh yeah and if you could tell me how much time do you charge it after you replace the bigger battery?
The battery that I used is called "18650 Lithium Ion Battery" they are commonly used in power banks or laptop batteries. I can't really say this for all batteries that are found in fake power banks but most are safe, the only disadvantage of using those is that the capacity is not a lot. In order to find that out, you will need a device that helps you run a capacity test. That is how I knew how much capacity I have in the one I used. Not all batteries are the same so you will get different results. That being said, I can't really answer your question about how long your speaker needs to charge now because I not sure how much capacity it has.
Out of all the T&G speakers I bought the "TG 113A" is the best because of it's sound quality. The others are okay if you just want something to amplify sound but it lacks bass.
A passive radiator makes it possible for woofers to generate deep sounds, for it to work the enclosure has to be air tight and of course the speaker driver has to be a good one.

The only difference that I know of is the 113A only has one speaker driver and the battery capacity is much smaller. The 113 has a battery capacity of up to 1200mAh. Not to sure about the Bluetooth chip and the amplifier cheap that each speaker uses.
I have a TG 113 before, The sound quality between the two is very different, the 113 maybe loud but the 113A has much more bass and solid sound. 113 kinda hurts my ears because of too much treble.
In my case... Soldering the battery give bad effect One of the battery um... Like discharge too quickly, and 1 more battery ded... Nice upgrade tho! Im working on upgrading fake charge3 aswell... Take a look at fake charge3 passive radiator, its THICK! seriously!
@@TaylorSoloaiJR nah... They have pretty big capasitor for high pass filter But the driver is quiet soft, better than fake xtreme I just love the PR. evrything else is... Yah you know...

Soldering the wire directly to a battery will shorten the life of the battery, or, if you are not careful, even destroy it. It's much better to buy a battery with welded strips on it, then solder the wire to these strips.
Yes you are correct, that's why it's important to do it fast but I love the idea of buying one with nickel metal strips. It's a lot safer and easier as well.
@@kangle2938 No. Because then you have to solder longer. The 'trick' with spot welding is that you quickly (in milliseconds) heat very small volume on the surface of the battery, and although the temperature in the spot is very high (~2000K), the amount of produced heat is low.

My battery doesn't had a bms
Should I buy and put it in my speaker battery or there is nothing to worry
Really? Maybe the bms is built into main board (that's just a guess). Doesn't hurt to buy one but I think it should be okay.

I think the reason that TG 113A has a space for 18650 battery is because the TG 113 uses one since it's battery capacity is higher
Yes that's exactly what it's for, the original battery is around 500mAh which is not much.
what happens if i use 2 18650?
Two 18650 batteries in parallel will increase the mAh which means more playtime. Just remember do not connect them in series.
