@@AndrewCig Many of us do not. Joe is forcing us to support him at this point. Many were speaking against him, but Joe literally shut them down and told them stop it basically. So yeah, I'd say him gripping for power is pretty accurate, because we're not even allowed to speak up against him anymore. And it's guised behind being "for saving democracy." Ah yes, save democracy by running one of the weakest, oldest, least favorable candidates we have in our pool list. That'll surely do it.

Would they use such bare-knuckle tactics? Could they? Yeah, if they wanted. Should they? Dunno.

People do not understand the Biden Obama dynamic. Biden is extremely jealous of Obama. In Biden’s mind he must, at all costs, do better than Obama. Obama had two terms therefore, Biden must have two terms. Biden must make a greater impact on America than Obama, he hasn’t accomplished that yet so, he must have a second term.
He certainly did for the worst. He did more in 1 term than what Obama did in 2.

@@johnrichards6039 A presidency should be defined by number of legislations been passed and the strength and resiliency of the economy. Trump passed no major legislation in four years except for giving a giant tax cut to wealthy. Under Biden at least three significant legislation have been passed - Inflation Reduction Act, Build Back Better Infrastructure Legislations, CHIPS Act. There was also a bipartisan Immigration Reform Legislation going to pass if Trump did not derail it. The economy under Biden is showing incredibly resilience and no recession hit the U.S. economy as forecasted by the right wing media over last 3.5 years. But Trump bungled a good economy due to his mismanagement of the pandemic. If he had just managed the Covid-19 pandemic little competently, there was no reason he should not have been reelected. If the economy remains strong as it is now, Biden should fairly easily win his reelection despite what polls say. At the end of the day all that matters is the economy that makes an incumbent reelected.

Robby, I think your assessment is correct. Baring some calamity between now and the convention, Biden will be the nominee. I'm angry about this because I feel betrayed by the Biden team. Excellent argument for term limits. Congress: 12 years; 6 2-yr terms in the house, 2 6-yr terms in the senate, or some combination thereof. Supreme Court: Every President upon taking office gets to nominate 1 Supreme Court Justice to replace the longest serving justice, at which time the now longest serving justice becomes the Chief Justice. Justices could thus serve a maximum of 36 years, unless they voluntarily retire or become incompetent/pass away sooner.
He is testing the Lord. And he will not get away with that.
