DC will never like Jones. His convictions won't allow it and I don't blame him. Jon Jones is the epitome of so many things wrong with society, rewarding bad behavior, rich and elite people getting slaps on the wrist, degeneracy, lying and cheating, domestic violence against the mother of his children and the list goes on.
Hearing that Jon Jones sent DC a message after both his parents passing is things we will never hear unless you say it, which as fans I wish we didn’t push it so hard, but us UFC fans need to see this happen. It will close a chapter in everyone’s lives, same as DC and Jones.
Tbh, I just don't see them ever being friends. Sure there can be mutual respect between the two but their history was very unpleasant. Their beef was a genuine beef. Some of the things said are things you don't say even in fight promotion.

Daniel probably wants to see how Jon closes out his story as a fighter and moves forward in his personal life. Friendship must come naturally and not be forced, just like when you meet a friend in real life. Everyone is aware that not everyone they meet will end up being a friend, particularly if there is genuine hostility between you and that individual. Only time will tell.

I kinda agree with the fact of ‘What’s the point’. Their careers have both gone each of their ways and the two of them have done their business together and moved on. But there’s always that thing of fans never quite letting go of a fighter beef because it’s fun to beef fanbases vicariously through fighters. But at this point fans aren’t gonna be satisfied until DC sits down with Jones and dwells on how he lost twice and kiss Jones’ feet essentially. There’s no point besides fan craving

Without starting to watch the video. Sometimes words and actions can't be taken back and excuses don't matter anymore. Just look at colby vs masvidal or Khabib and Conor. I personally, and of course i could be wrong, don't believe that Jones changed. Very often people only say things to look better in public. Just watch the Jones vs Dc interview where Jones thought the cameras are off. You can forgive someone or just forget the bad actions, but that doesn't mean that you have to be friends afterwards or to sit down together.
