It’s that time of the year to return to Union, Illinois at the Illinois Railway Museum for one of their popular events: Day Out With Thomas. Since we didn’t attend the first weekend of the event due to our previous trip with Nickel Plate Road 765, it’s only fitting that we would make up for it the following week once we got back from Angola, Indiana. While we may not have the sun out for better footage, it still worked out well on an overcast summer day. Rock Island GP7R 4506 pulled Thomas’ train and Commonwealth Edison 4 pulled Percy’s train at East Union Depot. Overall, it was another fun day reliving childhood memories at the Illinois Railway Museum featuring Thomas the Tank Engine. We apologize for the delay of this video since we needed more time to work on the video in post production with the addition of technical difficulties and minor construction work going on in the office we encountered this week.
