The ending looks to be leading into a modern version of Bram Stokers Dracula. Due to him meeting Mina Harker which was supposedly the reincarnation of his wife back when he was created/ made.

This version of Dracula is my favourite
its the most realistic and yes its my favorite too i love how they eluded to vlad the impaler in the bodies in the pikes very historical.
It's like they mixed history with fiction.

It's a shame this movie is no longer part of the Dark Universe.
