Lithium Batteries seem like the way to go. I am hoping over time they become less expensive. The weight is the huge plus when you are in the smaller boats. If you have a bigger boat that uses 3 batteries, the Lithium would be great for that too. 3 marine batteries together are about 175 lbs but if you had 3 Lithium, you are talking less than 50lbs. As far as the meter, would the old fashion battery box work for a Lithium Battery? Thay have a meter to check battery life. Great review... I hope your family had a great Christmas and New Year! I hope we all get to catch a lot fish in 2024. Fish on!!!
I would think the prices would continue to go down as more options come online. Not sure about the meter. My old charger doesn't show any good information. Something I will need to research. Had a nice holiday season. I bet yours was a little extra sweet this year. Can't wait to get out there and fish. Thanks for watching. Fish on!
Excellent review. I'm a big believer in Lithium batteries and convinced they are the best overall value in batteries today. BTW: I ordered a lithium battery voltage per cent meter from Amazon and it works great and easy to wire into system.
How about a multimeter? I’m using a Minn Kota enduramax 55# thrust trolling motor that has a built in battery meter so that’s how I check my lead acid deep cycle battery but I just purchased the same battery as you. Should be a big upgrade and can’t wait to get out on the water and see the results. Thanks for the info
I have Dakota 23ah and 54ah and I lost the screw on my 54ah. Where can I find the replacement screw? Also anyone has suggestions to have replacement of these screws like wing nuts or any advise ? Any photos to show me? Thanks in advance!

Good review, I might go this route when I need my next set of batteries
Took me awhile to justify cost but weighing only 16 lbs, really sold it.

Thanks very much Sir. Do you happen to have a link to the meter or maybe one of your vids covers it? Thanks for watching.

Look into Dakota Lithium Victron battery meter
I added a Vicron Connect Bluetooth connector. Works great so far. I am curious to see how much I use each trip. Thanks for watching.
Thanks. I did just that. I'll let you how it does. Good luck with your new battery.
You have an awsome name!!
Thanks Vance. Hope I earned a sub. Fish on!
I have a Victron Energy blue tooth. It connects to your phone via blue tooth and lets you know the voltage and temperture of your battery.
Thank you very much. I will check that out for sure. Thanks again and Fish on!
