The bike looks beautiful as it is from stock but with these mods it’s stunning now! The bar end mirrors give the bike that off road bad ass kind of looks , but I personally still enjoy the classic Mickey Mouse ones. The sound of new pipes is phenomenal! 👌🏻
This is going to sound weird, but is that you Reef Dork!? You helped me set up my reef tank over the last 2 years, now you are going to help me set up my new Scrambler 1200 xe. Are we living in a parallel universe! Love the bike!
Nice bike! The Triumph handle bar brace is the only thing, I considered bullshit back in 2010 on my old Scrambler, the aluminium protection guard underneath the gear box really prevented my oil filter from being ripped off and proofed to be a nice and expensive piece of gear, that actually saved money.
Nice one! This is what a large part of owning a bike is all about IMO, getting it just how YOU want it. Who cares if you'll never take it off road and lets face it, if you where serious about going offroad you'd be taking stuff off to save weight, not bolting it on. Several criteria come into play when choosing a bike, in no particular order, performance, handling, practicality, cost, looks etc.... You just put them in the order you want and make your choice. Enjoy! 👍
Really interesting video I have fitted basically all the extras mentioned except my pipe is a guy Martin great escape pipe and yes it is horrendously loud...super video but you forgot to mention that despite me being 5ft 8.....55years old and slightly rotund I still feel like Steve McQueen when green laning!!!!!!
Fantastic video I picked up my xe1200 last week what an amazing bike ,you've given me a few ideas especially the high mudgaurd ,I think the bike should have came with this as it shows off the true scrambler style. I've just added numbers to the front and side, 63 for the year I was born and the year the made tge movie tge great escape 😀
The camera on my phone got all janky on me. When I’d go into the camera and look through the viewfinder, the scene was very blurry. I had no idea why. Then I read on UA-cam that having your phone on your motorcycle handlebars can screw with the image stabilization on the phone. So I’m pretty sure that’s what happened. The camera was basically unusable. I was just about ready to get a new phone anyway, so I didn’t bother fixing it.
The fork covers are there for a reason to stop your fork legs getting chips and leaking oil not a very good idea at all to take them off I wouldn't recommend it to any other people looking at this you will either have to get them rechromed f from a professional or you will have to buy new forks guaranteed good luck.

😅 Yep, that's me! I had loads of problems with my Scram though, so I ditched it after a year!

I got the Quad lock vibration temper and it fix the issue to possibly breaking the your phone camera.

Lovely looking Bike, nice extras, love the Zard exhaust, you need to pickup your chain maintenance though fella😢
damn, that chain needs some love
After all the farkle spending I guess there was no money left for chain lube.
Great review, I like those bolt covers! Also the padded bar isn’t useless if you ever go over the bars off-road your groin will thank you 😅

Great looking bike 👌
Great vid! Thanks. Can you share the brand name of the mirrors again? Thank?
TEC bike parts
Nice review! what brand is the rear rack, please?
It's the official Triumph one
like the handguard
Hi, long shot, but I don't suppose you still have the standard front mudguard at all? I would be happy to buy it from you. Cheers
No, threw it away when I sold the bike I'm afraid
Complimenti molto bello lo scarico Zard! Ottimo sound! Come calore con zard è migliore rispetto ad Akrapovic o all'origine? Grazie!!
Good vid 👌
Do you find the handlebars vibrate to any extent when you're riding the bike?
I never noticed it on my hands but if I touched my phone mount it really buzzed

Thanks for the video mate, I'll like to put this mirrors are they original ones? Or aftermarket?? thanks for your kind answer
They're aftermarket - TEC Bike Parts
Good one and do we need a handlebar riser? And those mirrors look amazing.
I found the bars nice and high as standard. Although standing up I had to stretch out to my finger tips
It’s just the Zard silencers you’ve got yes? Not the de-cat?
Both
Good morning ! what brand are the mirrors? Homologated?
Tec bike parts 🙂 homologated? As in road legal? As far as I'm aware yes but don't really know!
Nice screen. Ciro Citerio.
All that attention to detail. I can't help but notice the rusty chain.
😂 Yeah, it's a state isn't it??
My chain on my 2019 XE has gone exactly the same despite cleaning and lubing.....could be s problem?
@@stevescott4906 in my case, it's all down to me failing to clean and lube it regularly!
Come to think of it, I remember being quite shocked at how quickly my chain started to show signs of rust!!!!
@@stevescott4906 yeah my chain seemed to get rusty VERY quickly! Its now white with chain wax!
Don't think the ball ache is worth the shinny bits. The bark of the Zard is tasty though.

Nice Vid. Rear rack only carries 2kg? Thats damn near useless.
IMHO tis bike is too heavy for a scrambler. You need agility and less weight!
You need to be Ernie Vigil.
