I like how when Cammy dies to good plays he sounds... Not happy but... Satisfied? Sometimes UA-camrs/Streamers sound disappointed when that happens and I do get that mentality ("damn, that was my fault") but I do appreciate really good sportsmanship of being happy that your opponents are playing well. It's not an easy mentality to maintain, though in casual modes like control it's not that bad, I suppose.
That attitude only kicks in when I'm having a semi-good game myself lol that's the only time I muster up the strength to let out a "nice nade" reluctantly under my breath 😂

I had an adept Exalted Truth with Slick/Gutshot and 95 range. Was actually like shooting a ping pong ball gun that didn’t get affected by air resistance
I scanned the new perks for all HCs looking for that anti-flinch roll soon as Final Shape dropped. I've been using Exaulted Truth with perf float and frenzy as my main HC forever, and been dying for a kinetic slot version!!!! Obv the stats arnt quite there but the perks just make it worth it. Im looking for a roll probs with more range than stab but with perf float and zen, glad to see someone else saw my vision!!!
I really like to use rangefinder, and elemental capacitor on better devils and rose. Using rose though I also get the rightweight buff and it has 100 stability, 100 recoiled direction with 60 range, and rangefinder. Cammy would probably like it. Ohh and I usually rock a void hunter.
I cannot remove Knucklehead Radar on my hunter anymore...I got too spoiled with having a radar on 24/7 and with the bonus comsat, small damage boost and other bonuses. I I-I just can't take it off anymore...
You should do a video explaining why you value stability on HCs so much more than seemingly everyone else. I have an exalted truth with 55 range/90 stab that feels really good, but I need someone to tell me it's worth using to undo 8 years of range only conditioning edit: I tried it again and cammy is absolutely right. I've been sitting on a 5/5 adept since whenever it came out and I had no idea! dropping to 55 range gives up like a meter of 3tap compared to an EP rose, but that's well worth having zero recoil and 59 AE all of the time.
The short of it (without breaking down the individual numbers for everything) is the zoom changes constricted how much range let's you punch outside of your weapons intended range before damage falloff kicks in while keeping weapons in the ranges where they feel good to take deuls that make sense. By that same token the zoom changes also made all the background stuff that zoom does more effective to compensate for it nolonger pushing out your damage falloff (invisible stability, aim assist falloff, how zoomed in the scope is) so that alongside the stability changes (zen moment rework, anti flinch being built into stability and stacking multiplicativally with other anti flinch sources) and the deterministic recoil on guns dropping after I think season 22 you feel the effects of stacking range on weapons but it's nowhere near necessarily now because you won't get that many meters for range but you will absolutely feel the difference in stability when deuling because not only are you dealing with less harsh recoil but you aren't fighting nearly as much flinch. With that being said, exalted truth is just an amazing hand cannon from the stats, profile of the gun, to the perks but people forgot it existed the moment the zoom changes hit and moreso when igneous hammer got brought back. TLDR: exalted truth is one of the strongest 140s in the game that only got stronger with the zoom and stability reworks but people ignore it to keep running crimson, ace, and igneous if they want hand cannons and if they're running conditional they default to igneous so even though you aren't running those or the over used red death and khvostov you're having a ridiculously easy time deuling because you are barely feeling flinch or recoil on a hand cannon that already has juiced stats and being a 140 you don't really have to be pinpoint to hit crits so you can focus solely on hitting shots but don't have to focus too hard.
The first commenter touched on how the removal of zoom's effects on damage falloff made Range less essential. But also since like Season of the Haunted, Bungie changed the game so that stability and resilience increase flinch resistance. Some specific weapons need good stability for recoil reasons (e.g. 180 rpm hand cannons), but Cam likes high stability for the anti-flinch. In his video, "The Craftening changed how I view God Rolls," he talks a lot about his eternal chase to balance airborne effectiveness, flinch resistance, and hip-fire accuracy. This chase leads him to seek rolls like the Better Devils roll seen this video.

The 'perma' tangle glitch puts it into a state where it'll sit forever UNTIL someone grapples to it. Pretty sure it has something to do with it being grappled around when its supposed to disappear, adding time to its life after the game thinks it should be gone.

What I am interested in is the mod that gives you a chunk of class ability charge for guardian death and the whole charge if you res a teammate. What sorts of things would you use this for? I tried using it with acrobat's dodge with either prismatic or solar, for a lot of radiant buff uptime, just didn't know what gun to pair it with. Anyone else also welcomed to give ideas!

Yes ace flinches more. Not only did explosive payload's flinch specifically get nerfed but ace and crimson's flinch have both always been more aggressive than any other hand cannon and those weapons being brainddead easy to shoot and get gifted crits on a silver platter while flinching the hell out of people is the main reason they've always been viable even if people are claiming something else is meta for a season. Even after all the nerfs ace still gives you everything you could ask for on a 140 without you even needed to farm to get it and crimson got ONE nerf that did absolutely nothing to fix it being an unbalanced and annoying gun to fight becauseyou're getting high calibur hand cannon flinch in a burst, its visual recoil is high but aim assist still puts your bullets on the crit, and it heals on kill so if a bad teammate runs into a fight with it all the damage done before the kill is undone and it's made worse with hunters crutching wormhusk, titans crutching one eyed mask and void barricade, healing grenades, and warlocks crutching speakers sight right now or camping in healing rifts.

Flinch increases with the amount of damage you receive. Since Ace has perma kill clip, those extra damage bullets give it 120 flinch at a 140 rpm, making it extremely obnoxious to fight against.
@MADOYS yeah both are pretty dominant. Honestly with the amount of people glued to khvostov and red death even after the nerfs to both, if you like playing hand cannons a bit more aggressive you should try crimson. It's only downside is it struggles to peakshoot against other hand cannons because it fires in a burst but if you're not putting yourself in stupid situations or you stick to exotic armor that bails you out for bad play you can very easily outshoot players that just use whatever people are calling meta for any given season.
And yesterday I deleted this (anti-flinch) roll because of the extremely low range... Well, my PVP skills are light-years behind yours so probably not such a big loss for me.
What’s the point in farming anti-range hand cannons? Why use alloy mag over accurized? I don’t get it. There are plenty of hand cannons in both slots that can have high range and stability.
A low range HC like this makes up for it range with perks that high range options don't have. Whether those perks are better than having lower stats is up to you.
I freaking hate deterministic recoil. 69% of the times i feel like the recoil direction stat is just lying to me. Most crafted pulse rifle I have is worst with +30RD from arrow head brake than the base version with no extra stability like hammer forged. Can some1 confirm this? Or I'm just crazy?
This is a great better devils but too bad the base stats are so bad, with Austringer you can get eye of the storm and zen moment crafted. Not only that but also 40 more range and maybe less than 10 stability compared to this roll.
You need both stability and range, can't use your range if you get flinched off your target, more stability over range and you'll be tickling people, on target sure but needing something like radiant, blessing of the sky, or leg mods to compete outside your intended range
