When I was a toddler, I was watching actual good kids shows like Little Eeinsteins, Veggietales, to name a few. But it's sad that toddlers NOW have to watch this....creation.
This is why I'm not giving my kids (if I ever have kids) a tablet or phone, I'm just going to get streaming services with kids shows instead, I used to watch teletubbies, Thomas, Barney, pocoyo. You know the best kids shows you could find in the 1990 to 2000, imo those are the best years of kids shows. Like yes phones and tablets are the best thing that is part of our future now, but fuck I didn't get my own phone till I was 16 so my kids will be the same. "No movie theatre is like this". Well then here is a pro-tip: don't get a time machine and visit a New Zealand picture theatre in the 90s. There was always a check point where they would harass you like the Gestapo to stop you from bringing in food and drinks from outside the cinema. They would even come in and shine torches down the aisles to check on you while the trailers ran, got to make people buy the food at the kiosk that is 5x the normal price somehow.

This is why I'm not giving my kids (if I ever have kids) a tablet or phone, I'm just going to get streaming services with kids shows instead, I used to watch teletubbies, Thomas, Barney, pocoyo. You know the best kids shows you could find in the 1990 to 2000, imo those are the best years of kids shows. I'm not letting UA-cam or UA-cam kids rot my childs brain with those really shitty nursery rhymes or toy role play. Like yes phones and tablets are the best thing that is part of our future now, but fuck I didn't get my own phone till I was 16 so my kids will be the same. "No movie theatre is like this". Well then here is a pro-tip: don't get a time machine and visit a New Zealand picture theatre in the 90s. There was always a check point where they would harass you like the Gestapo to stop you from bringing in food and drinks from outside the cinema. They would even come in and shine torches down the aisles to check on you while the trailers ran, got to make people buy the food at the kiosk that is 5x the normal price somehow.
That’s every movie theatre in the U.S and its been that way right up until COVID. Obviously no movie theater wants you to bring food in.
Yaaaah! It was like that in the UK until the early 2010s! Looking in bags and coats but the only thing they would stop you bringing in is hot food! Oh kittens and hamsters! Everyone was seeking in their class pets...🙃😑
