When I lived in Salt Lake City, I felt the same while running. Eventually I moved, but it was definitely something to get used to...
I bet, I see people flying by so I’m sure anyone can get used to it. Curious to see what a week here and 3-4 workouts does on the Garmin watch, and if I feel anything different going back to sea level after just 6 days. Probably nothing much haha
Great job running at Mile High elevation. It takes a minute to adjust. The Cherry Creek trail covers Mile 5-6 and 21-22 of our local marathon.
It’s a lovely bunch of connecting paths to get around without a car!
The Highline Canal trail starting at Three Pond Park in Cherry Hills Village and going South is the nicest view you'll get from a trail in Denver. It's a gravel trail. Trailhead parking for Three Pond Park is about a 20-25 minute drive from the Convention Center.
Maybe I’ll check it out. I want to head West one day and get into just the edge of the mountains. Maybe one other run downtown. I’ll see what I have time for.
I know the feeling! I ran a little at Grand Staircase-Escalante campsite. I even felt it on the treadmill at our hotel in Salt Lake City. It was tough!
Yea, it’s manageable but noticeable
Nice vid !
This city is a nice place to film and explore, wish I had more time to myself this trip
They have Meow Wolf there??? I thought that was just an Albuquerque thing! Noted 👀
They have a pretty big Meow Wolf 💫
Great video! And thanks for the reply in the previous one. Question: was that the Cherry Creek trail you were on?
Yup, Cherry Creek, Platte, and Front Range Trails so far.
@@ChristianRunsNY awesome. Thanks again!
I believe it’s pronounced ‘seal’. Or in polish “che-lay” which roughly translates to baby cow.
I’ve seen so many pronunciations. Most common I see is “C-EL-A”. 🤷🏻♂️
Imagine running 26.2 in that altitude.
I couldn’t without being here for a few weeks first!
