I must be in the minority because I don’t think Meltzer is on Tony’s payroll at all. He is a big cheerleader for AEW because it’s not WWE and if he plays it up for AEW, he has more access to the roster and has a more direct connection to Tony’s fibs about the company’s performance and profit.
If you understand how social media works you would see why Dave does it. Social media is all about engagement and he is rage baiting all the WWE fans into reacting to his posts. Being an Influencers is a business game. Rarely do you see anyone's genuine thoughts.

There's no way AEW made a cent in profit from All In 2024. UK venue rent is bigger than ever and they sold cheap tickets to less than 50% attendance. Luckily though, AEW isn't a real company so losing money doesn't matter.

I look at it this way. If I had 72,000 dollars, and then a year later, I had 46,000. But didn't spend any. I'd be looking for anything to solve the problem. Tony's not. He believes 50k people want to watch dream matches. That's just not the case

Listening to feedback from your employees and customers is huge. You don't have to be a ahole either. Just know when to have boundaries. Appeasing egos creates more problems

If you added up the tickets that were sold to the original show,and how many bought tickets to where it ended up being,it would have had like 10,000 seats left. They sell 10,000 seats in 5 minutes.
