A great tip I found is to drill your tap holes through a scrap piece of wood first, and make sure the taps fit into that. Effectively gives you a dry run first and allows you to practice the technique before you drill the actual bath.

Great video. One thing I recommend is not going to close to the tiles or the rim. The tap nuts need to be flush and pinch the bath. And allow the taps to turn if you need to get your fingers behind them to turn.
Other UA-camrs are saying to mark out the centres of the holes and drill the pilot hole at the same size as that centre drill first, then running the drill in reverse drill each hole, stopping just before you break through and switching to clockwise. Also watch out that you have room for your back nuts before finalising the position.
